So much work had been put into this. So. Much. Work. Poppi hadn’t slept for almost 2 weeks, keeping herself sustained on coffee, twinkies, and magic. But it was required if she had any hope of completing it… Her greatest creation since Arcadia herself. She had learned from the mistakes in the past. Callia had far too many factors to account for, too many powerful friends which were FAR too close. This time she had made sure to remove any such issues. In fact, it was more like her making a robot than a servant this time around. She just needed a bit more time… A few hours or so for the finishing touches to finally settle in. As she pondered this, a few alarms would begin to go off. The sensors went off quite often due to the surrounding wildlife, as well as the local village. Curious children could be so annoying… She’d reach to her side and press a button next to a microphone. “Bertrand, please go get Lady Arcadia and check out the sensors by sector 7.5. Oh, bring Igorn as well! He hasn’t had much to do lately and he is quite the restless soul…” “Anything else my lady?” “If it’s one of the villagers, please bring them to me. I am getting quite tired of their antics” “Understood” Bertrand would close his communicator and look around before donning his mask. Swiftly he would move over to the doorway at sector 7.5 and attach a small device on the door. It would allow for the invaders to enter in without setting off any alarms, if they followed the Coordinate exactly that was. Quickly he would reopen the communicator and contact both Arcadia and Igorn. “Mistress Poppi wishes for us to check out the area around Sector 7.5. It is probably nothing, but I would suggest getting here quickly just to be safe” Jeremy Amari Lady Arcadia Vayle Cameo Tenchi

Tenchi stood inside of an abandoned workshop in a town not too far away. It was finally time to go after this Poppi, and making sure that he had the proper arsenal would be especially important this time. Even with the powers of hell at his disposal, nothing could really beat the feeling of a good weapon in the man's hand. The plus would begin loading a 10mm pistol, and slung his classic RPG around his back. This wouldn't just be a fight, it would be a siege. The more destructive the weapon, the greater it's usefulness. Castle walls weren't thin after all! As he concluded loading the last firearm he had opted to bring, Tenchi would begin to make his way to the castle. Air walking was the quickest way there, but it was still some distance away. The real questing that he was pondering involved whether Vayle was coming or not. she might have intentions to keep the woman alive after all. As far as he was concerned, the woman had signed her own death warrant by assisting Elanor. He had no reason to believe she was being mind controled, so he would show no mercy in the coming fight. The ground below him felt, quiet... It may have been the strange grimness of the day, but it still rubbed him the wrong way. "The city is quiet? Unlikely, but... I've seen stranger.Vayle Cameo Takano Hirai Lady Arcadia Jeremy Amari

It has been a tense few weeks. For Arcadia, it was a time for not just difficult training and continuing missions, but also for contemplation. First, the clash with Vayle, then, Takano's torture session and the brief scuffle she had with Poppi then... Both of them told Arcadia very clearly that she didn't know everything, that there was something hidden from her. That something beyond her comprehension was taking place before her eyes. And this something... it was definitely related to Poppi, it was definitely related to Vayle, it was definitely related to Eleanor, even though Arcadia struggled to uncover even a single grain of truth.
Were these thoughts traitorous, mutinous even? They might be... and it was why Arcadia kept trying to not think about them. But there is nothing wrong with worrying about the truth, right? After all, there was no reason to believe that this could not strengthen her loyalty, too... The Mistress's plan was to be trusted, surely, what she and Poppi had told Arcadia must be the truth, she just needed to find the proof for it...
The Fullbringer was standing guard in one of the corridors of Castle Mohn when she suddenly received a message to her communicator. It was Bertrand, and he ordered her to arrive to area 7.5 under Mistress Poppi's orders. What was it now? The Castle would receive intruders every once in a while from the neighbouring villages and wildlife, but if the Society saw it as threatening enough to send two Flowers to investigate, then it's clearly neither of that.
"I'm on my way." Arcadia's response was brief and swift. The woman pocketed her communicator, pushed herself off the wall she had been leaning on, and began making her way through the dense network of corridors in the Castle.

Vayle took a deep breath, struggling to hold her faith in an impassive expression.
Castle Mohn Blume. Eleanor's base of operations. It was time. and from the readings she'd been given....
A senkaimon would open, just next to Tenchi's own position, the wooden doors pushing themselves open in front of her before revealing her, still holding onto her zanpakuto, and with a completely calm expression. "We can't seem to avoid eachother at this point, can we?" She asked with a thoughtful expression, before stepping forward. Looking over to Tenchi with a frown. "...We need to get going. No time to fight about it." She'd finally say with a resigned sigh, focusing instead on suppressing her own spiritual pressure. eventually, though, she would sigh. "...You've no intent on honoring his request, do you?" She'd ask with a frown.
Then, she would begin silently following the co-ordinates Bertrand had left for them. there was no time to waste, and several people she'd prefer not to meet just yet, after all. She needed to play this one as cool as ice, and focus on doing her duty as a death god. With the allies she had, with the enemies she was up against....
"...Guess I have my work cut out for me." Vayle muttered.

The laptop repeatedly played the message as Jeremy attempted to parse if the man with the mask was sincere, if his desperate plea was made by a man truly torn between loyalty and morality. Something like this screamed trap, as an attack on a heavily fortified base of operation with the door seemingly open has historically been a means to pull an enemy into your clutches. It seemed on the level, the man’s facial features showed a tired and broken man, but in truth the soldier had no say in the matter. The van drove closer to the coordences provided by the video, the mission given on high by Granny Keida. Blue team to storm the castle and take this hidden fortification and assist in anyone who had also received the instructions. When questioned to what ends, she continued to be vague and hurried them along. The soldier sighed as he put away the computer. That much hasn’t changed. “So what do we know about this place?” Jeremy asked allowed to the other members. Alex took his focus on driving, while the two younger members took seats further back in the van. “Satellite pictures found nothing, drones seem to get disabled within a certain distance, and electo-magnetic scans seem to tell us there’s a big hole in reality,” Lionel explained He was also deep into a computer, although this one was lined across the entirety of one side of the van. “The area in question seems to have been hardened against mortal surveillance and our only real proof of something there is everything around that area reacts as if something is there. Including disappearances.” “So nothing going in with nothing other than that there’s a noticeable lack of anything,” Remilia said as she cleaned one of her weapons, a cross look on her face. “Sounds like one of those missions.” “Nothing we haven’t handled before,” Jeremy attempts to relieve the noble girl’s annoyance. Only to backfire with his own annoyed grunt. “Although I do wish Keida would actually give us more information to act on.” “She is telling us what we need to know. I’m sure she has a reason” Alex answers with his usual stoic, making Jeremy sighed in response, before suddenly jumping in his seat as he felt two familiar Reiryoku. “Un-freaking-believable.” “What?” Lionel asked before he felt it too. One of them might have been wrapped by some power, but Jeremy knew those spiritual signatures. “Guess It’s a small world after all. Park the van, we’re going on foot from here.”
With the route provided and a pair of beacons to follow, Blue team quickly crosses path with the Soul Reaper and the infernal Plus, their armored suits made it easier to keep up with the supernatural spirits. “Good to see you again, Vayle,” Jeremy welcomed the death god, his skull helmet opening up from the mouth to show a happy look. He then looked over to Reverent with a much more menacing grimace and grumbled, “and I see you’re still alive.” He looked around, the rest of blue team scanning the area. They were trying to suppress their Reiryoku, but if they could find the two… “Out for a romantic night stroll, or you two here for the same reason we are?” (556 words) Vayle Cameo Takano Hirai Lady Arcadia Tenchi

Poppi gave a slight grin as she tapped on a broken bone-like plate. The process was coming along absolutely wonderfully. After quite a bit of painful trial and error she had perfected it, an impressive feat given her only having one subject beforehand. The small mad scientist had taken a much simpler approach this time around. Shinigami did not need to be integrated into the society, Eleanor had told her so after the events of that accursed party. That made things so much easier on the girl, as she had no reason to continue keeping the man’s mind fully intact. She could completely erase his mind, everything that he was, and replace it with what she wanted. Sort of like what she did with Arcadia, but far more clean. For now she’d keep his mind simple, working on it slowly until eventually he was a perfect soldier… The woman took a big bite of a twinkie as she turned to look at one of the monitors. Her obnoxious chewing would begin to slow as she noticed a few strange figures off in the distance.
Betrand would glance outside for a moment, checking to see if the people had arrived yet before turning away, making sure to leave the door wide open for the invaders. Quickly he’d make his way down the castle corridors, trying to meet Arcadia and Ignorn halfway. In less than a minute, he’d bump into Ignorn. The servant was nearly seven feet tall, and hardly ever spoke a word. He had no reason to speak, as his only purpose was to kill and protect. Sometimes Bertrand found himself being jealous of the man, not having to worry himself with these pesky feelings of dissent and fear… Just obedience. “Come on, Ignorn” He’d mutter before pushing past the man. Finally he would meet up with Arcadia. “I checked the doorway, there was nothing of suspicion there” Jeremy Amari Lady Arcadia Vayle Cameo Tenchi

Vayle would suddenly show up next to the hellwalker as he flew threw the air, and was clearly on the same mission here. A modified one perhaps, as she thought there was some chance in hell of actually taking her in live! Tenchi doubted it was even possible to take the woman in alive, despite the request that was purely out of sentiment and not practicality. The man in the message was obviously a friend or relative who wanted her restrained, but his orders were to kill. If a person was evil, they would go to hell. If a person was innocent (and just being mind controlled) they would be free of it in the soul society. Either way, the threat would be neutralized. Heroics, like undoing mind control were impractical, and never before seen feats. With Vayle tagging along, he would have to be sharp to land a killing blow. "Hmph. I guess you would show up, wouldn't you..." He would dodge her question for the moment. Eventually reaching the outskirts near the castle, the two of them would come across an entire squad of armored soldiers. It looked like nothing was going to be done quietly. One of the men in particular was Jeremy, someone he had once sparred. Tenchi was glad to see him, he would need a practical person's decision making. "Ah, Jeremy. I'm surprised you even recognized me... Planning on storming the place right? I think we can come up with a plan."
The plus would remove the rocket launcher from his back and explain, "Remember this thing? It's been upgraded... Should be strong enough to pierce a hole in the walls. A large enough opening for your men to storm the building. I believe subtly is already out the window if you came with this many people..."

Vayle looked away from Tenchi with a snort of derision that came from a long history with the man, as he replied. She was about to snap something back at him when she was greeted by Jeremy. "Hey! Good to see you're still alive and kickin'... Though I gotta admit I'll enjoy headhunting you into 7th division when you finally croak in fifty years or so." Vayle would add with a slight smile, oblivious to the morbidity of her joke... until Jeremy stated his next statement. "...Keep making jokes like that And you'll get a shot to join the 7th tomorrow." She'd quip back, sounding less upset than she felt by the accusation. She'd definitely heard the whole 'love and hate' thing, but Revenant's robotic way of handling things made him no more than some sociopath who'd been given too much power in her eyes.
She owed him enough, and this mission was important enough, that she wasn't going to turn that into a fight - he helped her save Olive a little while ago, after all - but that didn't mean she needed to like him, or working with him, so she wouldn't. "I"m here to save an acquaintance - a brainwashed human with high spec potential. Eleanor recruited her at her little party a while back, and her boss is now open and vulnerable. My job is to capture him, bring him back, and let soul society pick his brain for any valuable info." Vayle would respond, before pointing a thumb to Tenchi. "and his mission's probably to kill everyone or something. Hell's paperworks' a lot more violent, I guess."
With that, Vayle would look at Tenchi incredulously. "five men is pretty subtle as shinigami go, don't know what'cher on about, Revenant." She'd add with a sigh, before walking up to the nearby walls. "Quieter way to do this. Jeremy, follow me to the door. If the Revenant wants to be the distraction, I'll leave it to him. he might distract Eleanor for a bit, at least." Vayle would note, before taking the doorway marked for her into the facility. "quickly, quietly..." Vayle would add, before focusing just a bit of spiritual energy. within seconds, the shinigami disappeared from view, fading in front of blue team before looking for poppi's signature.
She might have been misplacing it, at least in part, against Revenant, but her main aggression was scratching at her just beneath the surface, as she marched up to meet the barbaric brainwasher that had broken Estrella and put this mask of 'Arcadia' in her place.
She was going to see this through. no matter what.

Catching up to Bertrand and Ignorn was not difficult. Their Reiatsu signatures stood out to Arcadia fairly easily, and thus, after a few minutes of navigating through the claustrophobic corridors of the castle, two tall Flowers appeared before her. Ignorn was, as always, stern and silent, one of the few members of the Coven who could be trusted no matter what, simply because he had no personality to speak of. Bertrand, on the other hand, pushed past his comrade and spoke to Arcadia directly, explaining to the Fullbringer that he checked the doorway and saw nothing of suspicion there.
"Thank you for the information, Bertrand," Arcadia responded and offered a curt nod. "However, no offense, but I would like to organize a more thorough investigation. The security of the Society is at stake and we should not rest until we can be sure that it's a false alarm."
Arcadia stepped past both Bertrand and Ignorn, her eyes set upon the corridor leading towards the doorway entrance of the sector. Her senses did not grant her any concrete hints, but she had a sneaking suspicion that this could not be simply a false alarm. "And as I am the superior of the three of us, I request you to follow."

Jeremy grunted with displeasure as Revenant accused him of ruining the stealth mission, looking the Plus up and down to see his deep red armor and casual street wear getup. The killer wouldn’t fit in anywhere other than a paintball arena or the stage for a slasher movie. At least the soldier was wearing black over his armor. The mention of the rocket launcher in particular, the one used on him barely a few weeks ago, made him clench his fingers until the knuckles were white. He kept his mind focused on the mission, and reminded himself that fighting the plus again would only result in another visit to the medical ward “I’m with Vayle on this one.” He says, the soul reaper’s good nature and trust placed in the soldier was a stark contrast to his interaction with the manic spirit. Although he couldn’t help but smile broadly as she seemed particularly pinches by his ribbing. “Unfortunately, I’ve been ordered to not die for this mission, and I’m very good at following orders.” With the mission spelled out clearly and the soul reaper’s own motives given, the soldier nods. He wasn’t sure how this would meld with their own objectives, but it was more important to ensure the targets could be taken before what to do afterwards was asked. “They might have already seen us, if the place is as important as said.” Lionel points out, although he still had his silenced needle gun in his hand that something bigger. “That might be the case, but until we know otherwise I’d like to see where these instructions take us,” Jeremy considered, before looking to revenant “You can go loud if you want, but if you’re going to do that, at least have the decency to do it in shooting range.” He only hesitates after seeing Vayle seemingly go invisible, slightly agasp as such a powerful ability, and begins to sneak in with a reminder of how powerful these people are. Blue team crept forward, their suits little hindrance to the trained soldiers. Even the great Alex moved to a with precise precision and acute awareness to his surroundings as they neared the fortification. Remilia herself moved between cover with the step of a ghost, the other team members unsure if her ethereal grace part of her suit or merely a quality of her own. Something that helped when she was sniping unaware hostiles, so they were fine with it either way. They reached sight of the door in question, the group having reached the edge of the clearly that lead up to the walls of some medieval style Castle. He’s sure someone else could say it’s true age and stature, but his focus was on getting in. Binocular lens in his helmet focused on the gate, seemingly unguarded. “Would love a distraction right about now,” Remilia says softly into the communications. “Me too, but tough luck. If this is a trap, this will be when they’d spring it.” Jeremy glanced around the clearing, and sighed as he mentally prepared himself. “Lionel, activate the scramblers”, he ordered, as Lionel turned a knob on his suit. Junk signals and counter wavelength drowned the close area, hoping killing their security and comms feed. “Alex, prepare the grenade harness in case this goes hot. Remi, kill anything that pop its head out.” “Weapons out, we’re going in.” And the four quickly bolt sprint across the clearing, with duty and faith on their side.
