Vayle felt it, but she did not feel it in the way Arcadia wanted. She did not feel fear or terror, or anything which would relieve the lone Fullbringer's cornered and frustrated mind. No, she tried to empathize with her. Instead of acting like a normal person, she turned Arcadia's words back on her. She declared that she too felt the exact same pain which the Fullbringer did, and that, much like Arcadia, she couldn't bear it and had to let it go.
How dares she...
"Stop that!!" Arcadia suddenly yelled out and pressed on the butt end of her Asauchi to activate Spirit Shackle yet again, sending a second pulse of agonizing pain coursing through Vayle's body. Her voice was filled to the brim with anger, hatred and frustration, but her tone betrayed a deep feeling of desperation, too.
"You don't get to speak like that!" the Fullbringer continued while her telekinetic abilities continued to build new weaponry for her, manifesting as a second set of wings behind her back. "You... You can't... speak of that..."
Arcadia's hand clasped onto her face, obscuring her left eye, while her fingernails dug into her skin. Her head was throbbing and her mind was trying to make sense of the convoluted, disorganized mess left out of her memories. No, from everything she knows of Vayle, she is merely an emotionless, despicable Shinigami, the one who took her dear sister away from her - she must be the one in the wrong, she must be the one who is lying...

Arcadia waved her Asauchi across the air, ordering all the telepathic weaponry to turn straight at Vayle and shoot forward, a barrage of blades and spears flying across the battlefield at bullet-like speeds.
