Bertrand paused as Arcadia’s remark. He was trying his best to buy the invaders enough time, but he had little else he could do aside from fighting Arcadia and Ignorn. Something he was fairly keen on not doing. What’s worse is that he had left that damnable jamming device on the door control. Wait… He might be able to work with this. Maybe not buy them much more time, but enough to let them inside. Bertrand gave a nod and picked up his pace towards the area. As the group reached the doorway, they would find it open. Bertrand crossed his arms, glad he had a mask on to hide his nervousness. After looking around a bit, he would stop himself at the door panel and tap at the foreign device attached like a parasite. “Lady Arcadia, I believe I found something” He made sure not to remove the device and crossed his arms. “This looks like someone might of done this from the inside… It’s nothing like I’ve ever seen before” It was a simple door jammer he had bought on the blackmarket. Nothing that could be used to tie this back to him. “If that’s here then this is a major security breach. It might of even been one of our own who placed it. If I may suggest, it may be best if we split up to look for signs of intrusion. One of us can scout inside the castle, one stays here, and another goes outside to check. We have no idea how long the door was open so anyone could have entered”
Poppi continued to squint at the camera screen, trying to figure out what they were. There were quite a few, around five from what she could tell. Was it the villagers trying some sort of Frankenstein-esque rebellion? Maybe she could put them all in a windmill and set it on fire for the irony. Or maybe test her new pet on them… She’d have to hurry up and finish over here though. Suddenly the Cameras would begin to shudder slightly. With the flip of a switch the Cameras would switch to Reiryoku Detection Mode, RDM for short. A wonderful little device designed by Arcadia, picking up Reiryoku like a Heat Signature. Unlike Thermal cameras, these could only detect Reiryoku, not detail how much was there. After getting one more good look, The woman would tap on the comms system and connect to the group of three she sent to investigate. “I saw some figures on the camera, I think it’s the villagers trying another attack. They must have messed with the wiring for the Cameras...So rude. Would you be so kind as to hold them there for about an hour or so? I’ve got something very particular in mind for them… Last I checked they were moving towards the doorway in Sector 7.5, maybe a few dozen meters out. Try not to kill all of them!” She'd wait for a response, only receiving static instead. Unbeknownst to the tiny witch, her message would only come across as heavy static. Tenchi would roll his eye's at Vayle remark about him killing everyone. He wasn't a mindless animal like Revenant anymore, he only killed who he was specifically instructed to kill. As for everyone else, he was allowed to take lives in self-defense only. He would grunt, "There is only one who needs to die, I will minimalism the loss of life is possible." After that, the rest of the squad seemed to opt for the stealth approach. Vayle did suggest that he should be the distraction however. The hellwalker would cough, "All this reishi in one place and you doubt they've already spotted us? If the coven is that stupid this mission will be a cake walk..." Though he didn't like cooperating with the shinigami, she had already cloaked herself. It looked like he was going to be the distraction after all. The hell walker would snap his fingers, being consumed by flames, and then reappear in a bust of flame fifty feet into the air... He would level his rocket launcher on the opposite side of the castle that Vayle and Jeremy were trying to infiltrate. The explosive capacity of the weapon was already impressive considering it's design, but through a little bit of hellcraft, it's flames would be truly devastating. He would shut one eye in an attempt to further aim the weapon, and as he saw his companions get into position, the trigger would be drawn! A rocket propelled grenade infused with the powers of hell would go soaring towards the far east wall of the facility. If the weapon impacted the walls, it would likely do significant damage to the facility. Certainly the distraction they were looking for. The only chance this could fail was if there was some kind of force field surrounding the base. Though he had never seen such a magic before, it may have been possible. Watching Bertrand suddenly jump up and point out the door jammer and then profess that the opened door is a major security breach got Arcadia to blink a few times in confusion. Sure, it was abhorrent that they had been breached by something as pathetic as a door left open, but wasn't he panicking a little too much here?
"...You have never seen a door jammer before." the Fullbringer muttered, then reached out toards the device with her hand, employing her telekinetic powers to rip it apart and let the pieces drop to the floor. Despite that, Arcadia was about to agree to Bertrand's suggestion and start giving out orders on who should head where, but two events happening one after the other got her to shut up. The first were her Reiryoku senses catching wind of a number of individuals approaching the opened entrance, and the second was a powerful explosion rocketing the entire castle. Instinctively, Arcadia drew her blade, while Ignorn's eyebrows narrowed.
"Alas, we have no time for investigations left. Ignorn, make your way towards the source of the explosion and eliminate the threat, if present. Bertrand, come with me."
Arcadia's senses did not fail - almost immediately as she made her way outside, she came across a handful of intruders, the strongest among them hiding their face with a skull mask. These were not ordinary villagers, that's for sure. Has Soul Society finally figured out the location of their base? Or was this a third party with a some sort of death wish? Whatever the case may be...
"You have arrived..." Arcadia began, infusing her Asauchi with her Hollow Reiatsu, granting it a pitch black aura, while staring at Jeremy and his teammates.
"...to your demise." on the other side of the castle, Ignorn finished, the stern Flower's muscles bulging as he glared at Tenchi through the hole which his rocket launcher made.

Arcadia's response to the whole situation was swift, merciless, and utterly devoid of any warm feelings. The woman was already set up to deal with jeremy with all the empathy and warmth one might give to a rat infesting one's cellar. Vayle hated seeing Estrella like this. She hated Poppi for making her into this. She hated Eleanor for causing this whole mess. And as she saw what the bright marquis had been reduced to by that brainwashing lunatic, it made her hate herself, for not stopping this. Thus, it was likely vayle gave herself away by signature alone as she morphed from the shadows directly behind Arcadia. "Just theirs? That's cold." Vayle quipped, feeling queasy. The moment she or Jeremy could make a break for it, focus on getting poppi down, capturing her, and getting out of here, the better. "...Well, if you're going to be like that, I guess I don't have much of a choice, do I?" The death god asked from behind the woman. "It's a bit early, but... Dazzle, Mahoutsukai!" The area exploded in light as the kodachi at Shale's side shattered into pieces, and before the weapon's look was even finished, Vayle was already firing a giant volley of Heat-seeking stars at arcadia like a mahcine gun. Drawn near to the unbarred gate to the fortress and the prize within, Jeremy and the rest of Blue Team raced forth as Revenant made himself a perfectly good distraction with an explosive attack on the main walls of the enemy base. They reach the last few feet to their destination before two figures emerged from further within, masked foes with a bright uniforms a flowers detailed besides cold eyes that stare down the intruders. One was familiar, but that did not stop them. The humans did not stop in their breakneck assault, not only due to Shale’s reappearance flanking the enemy, but as soldiers undaunted by the fear of death. “Activate Synchronization,” Jeremy ordered, and the soldiers tapped into their wellspring of spiritual energy to empower their suits. Modules left unpowered sprung to life as a power greater than any generator could muster, their armor came alight as the inlaid circuitry glowed white with supernatural energy. Across Jeremy’s HUD screens flashed to show his team mate’s own sight, their health, their strength. His concentration focused, as he knew the others did as well, and without another word they took position. As star magic battered the earth around the gate, Alex raised one arm and sheets of hardened metal folded out from his gauntlet, gaps in the top and bottom suddenly filled as a hard light field obscured most of him, though it’s main use was to cover Jeremy as the two got into close quarters range. Remilia flew overhead, jets attached to her back giving her temporary flight as she aimed down with her sniper, firing a few warning shots around Benrtand’s position. “Keep your head down, or they’ll have to install you as a blood fountain” She warned before she lands on the wall, claws attached to the hands and feet of her suit let her stick to it. She let down cover fire while Lionel loaded his own weapon, a needle launcher, and fires one of his concoctions at Lady Arcadia. Its effect were inducing paranoia, anger, and fear in the afflicted. An effect questioned for its usefulness on their field by his peers, but Lionel knew nothing hampered someone more than an unruly patient. Getting close, Alex raised his shield, allowed Jeremy to peak his shotgun through. The soldier smiled behind his skull helmet as he stared back, her earlier threat only gave him a reason to fight harder. “Thank you for the greeting. The tiny torturer scratched at her cheek, giving an annoyed sigh. This wasn’t the first time they had electrical issues before. Bad weather was common around this region, often resulting in costly and downright annoying repairs. Well, they would be annoying if Poppi actually paid the Electrician, usually she’d just end up keeping them for her experiments. Actually, why didn’t she just let one of them keep their minds so she could have a permanent electrician? Quickly the woman hopped down and grabbed her To-Do list off a surgical table, writing down the new idea as she made her way into an Operation room. Lying on the table would be her current and perhaps greatest experiment of all time. If she managed to succeed in this experiment, the society would have a reliable and fairly expedient way of converting Shinigami into powerful, loyal servants. Mistress Eleanor would be so amazed that she’d forget Callia even existed! Poppi plopped on top of a chair and looked at her unfinished servant. Wonderous thoughts of gifts and praise filled her head, giving her a sudden burst of energy to finish the work now! It won’t be much longer now, an hour or two if she really worked at it… Suddenly the entire castle would begin to escape. Poppi quickly jumped off her seat with a scalpel in her hand, the happiness she once had turning into complete annoyance. “LEONARD, FIND OUT WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON DOWN THERE!” She would scream out her doorway. She’d sigh and retake her seat. Soon these idiotic villagers wouldn’t be an issue. She just needed to finish up here…
Leonard ran down the hall at top speed. It wasn’t often that Poppi screamed at people like that, now was not the time to be slow. Eventually he would spot a large hole in one of the castle walls, followed by the echoing sounds of angered shouts and combat preparations. This wasn’t good… He’d turn heel and try to make his way back to Poppi. Rounds Until Poppi Finishes Her Experiment: 4 If you wish to attack Leonard to prevent him from warning Poppi, you must attack him like you would a normal person. He has 50 Defense and 30 HP. Tenchi had managed to draw quite a bit of attention thanks to his rocket. The large hole in the wall would cause Estrella's forces to go on the defensive, and he was the primary target. In the distance, he would be watched by another who fell under the coven's influence. Though his true target was Poppi, getting to her without knocking out a few of her thugs would probably be impossible. Seeing few other options, the floating hell walker would toss the rocket launcher behind himself. The bulky device would fall to the ground with a loud clunk. It was alright, he wouldn't be needing it anymore anyhow. The hellwalker would air walk closer to the opening in the wall as he would keep his eyes trained on Ignorn. "Sorry about the mess... I'll try not to hurt you too much big guy..."Tenchi would stretch out a hand, setting his sights for the high spec human. "HellCraft: Flame Bullets!" would be the command, as multiple bolts of fire leaped from the warrior's hand and made their way towards Ignorn. It was by no means Tenchi's best attack, but would be a good gauge of his opponent's strength. From what he could tell Jeremy and Vayle were both trying to capitalize on the hysteria as well, but they couldn't loose sight of the real enemy here. "So tell me? Why do you serve this vial coven?" Getting someone to talk was a good way to trick them into revealing their plans. Then again, would this guy be willing to even speak? This weird skull-faced Shinigami was not the only challenge to Arcadia and Bertrand tonight, apparently - the Fullbringer almost jolted when she heard Vayle's familiar voice behind her, the woman having left her disguise and broken her element of surprise. This was clearly not the foolish villagers which Bertrand was speaking of, and a few beaks of sweat on her fellow Flower's face indicated just that - this was a full force assault.
It did not help that, as soon as Vayle finished speaking and moved on to combat, one of Jeremy's mates suddenly fired a dart and unloaded a toxin into Arcadia's bloodstream. Though she did not even feel the brief sting as it struck her arm, the fear and paranoia inducing effects kicked in immediately. And while the volley of glimmering stars shot forward her way, the Fullbringer charged right back, speeding past all the missiles without much difficulty and screaming:
"YOU!"
Anger is only a short trip away from fear, after all.
As soon as Arcadia sped past the barrage, she slammed her foot into the ground and activated her Fullbring ability. Several whips and tendrils of pure Reishi would shoot out from the ground, seeking to bind Vayle down and drain her of energy - meanwhile, the Fullbringer herself threw her Asauchi into the air, allowing the weapon float under telekinetic force. It would soon be joined by several rocks from Arcadia's surroundings, crushed and turned into deadly spears by her telekinesis - all of them infused with poisonous Hollow Reiatsu.
"When I'm done with you, there won't be anything left to catch up on." she muttered with venom in her voice, letting the floating weaponry shoot forward with blinding speed.
Bertrand watched the unfolding battle between Arcadia and Vayle with a hint of worry in his eyes. His fellow Flower was in a frenzy, this was not time to try to convince her to stand down or, worse, reveal his allegiance... He could only hope that Vayle would knock some sense into her - she was a fresher recruit than him and was still burning with fanaticism, but there had to be hope in there, right? For now...
"Please play along." the Flower spoke, using his Shunpo ability to catch up to Jeremy and his team, then activated a technique of his. "Death Sign: Paralyzing Chains." Several portals would appear around the Shinigami, each one releasing golden chains seeking to ensnare its targets and drain them of their energy. Meanwhile, the Flower himself aimed his finger at the opponents and fired two dark red energy beams from the tip.
On the other side of the Castle, a far more ferocious battle than the one Bertrand waged was unfolding. Faced with a massive barrage of fire bolts from Tenchi, Ignorn crossed his arms and took the attack head-on. He deflected or hastily blocked as many of the attacks as he could while also simply dodging quite a few others, but many still managed to pass through his defenses and leave significant burns on his body.
He answered nothing to Tenchi's question, however - instead, Ignorn clenched his fists, pumping an obscene amount of Reishi into his muscles and allowing them to unnaturally bulge. The burns across his body faded from view, and the Flower himself turned into an eight foot tall behemoth of a man. And this behemoth charged straight at Tenchi, cocking back his right fist and then throwing a massive barrage of empowered punches at the Plus.

Vayle looked between the three flowers. It didn't look like she was getting out of this fight. Tendrils and binding chains struck from underneath the Soul reaper, and Vayle felt her hands and feet constricted by whips and tendrils. "Grrk... this one's... familiar..." She stated with a frown, before giving a slight smirk. "And who'd you learn this from? Eleanor? I'm sure the idea's familiar to her." She'd ask with a slight smirk, seemingly uncaring of Arcadia's rage. Inwardly... Inwardly, it was taking everything she could to keep her energy steady, stable, and that of a shinigami. She looked to Jeremy as she realized the situation they were in. 2 flowers... and one was Arcadia. What's more... Vayle turned to see another man, running as though to alert someone. As though to alert... "Jeremy, he's probably headed to warn the target!" she'd yell out, and then look at the duo. "So..." Arcadia's next strikes hit before Vayle could finish her sentence, leaving a cloud of debris as Vayle did her best to flash step through the barrage. her muscles felt like they would snap with this sort of pressure, But she let off a burst of reishi just in time to dodge Arcadia's asauchi, the weapon cutting through a piece of her hair. "So, as I was saying." Vayle said with a smirk, taking a few deep breaths that betrayed her strain, as she held up the reactor. Not aimed at Arcadia. Not aimed at Bertrand. Aimed directly at the runner. "Go on ahead. A shinigami isn't going to have problems with just a couple humans serving some 2-bit queen of the world wanna-be. Love Sign: Master Spark!" The blast would rush towards the runner at top speeds, blowing past the rest of the warriors and covering the hallway in a rainbow-colored blast of energy. The Shinigami would flash a look towards the two of them. "...Well then, 2 on 1, now? That's hardly fair odds, but it's against my duty to give you a handicap." She added with a smirk that was only slightly betrayed by her shortness of breath. She hoped Jeremy would hurry back. She didn't want her bluff here called too fast. Seeing the vicious attacks being thrown around between the masked assailant and the shinigami, Jeremy directed his team to set up to corner the enraged sword user. Take her down, corner the mole left still up, and then attack further into the sanctum of the castle. If these flower branded goons were the caliber to be expected of the rest of the defenses, it wasn’t going to be an easy fight. Speed was going to be important, since they didn’t have the luxury of reinforcements if anyone fell in battle. But the mole would not make that easy, either. He quickly appeared beside the soldier and the rest of Blue Team and golden chains materialized around them. They were trapped within a web, and with a misstep Jeremy blunders into one of the strands and feels in strength sap from him. Warning in his helmet flashed as he reserves were drained, and the weapon in his hand suddenly felt so, so heavy. A shot of red light missed him, it gave him enough time to turn into the second shot and let it fizzle on impact with his armor. “I’d hate to see us part,” Jeremy says to Bertrand as he attempts to weave through the chains towards the flower. Although he was tempted to tell the shinigami exactly where she could put her self sacrificial attitude, the blinding effect of her star magic reminded him that out of everyone he knew, she was probably the best suited to take these two on by herself. With the runner annihilated (metaphorically, maybe literally), now was the best time to sprint for the objective. “But you have places to go!” Jeremy raised his gauntlet up and fired a grenade towards the man, the flash bang exploding in a fury of light and sound, and with him distracted Jeremy grabbed onto the blond’s fancy coat with both hands. With the expertise of a seasoned bouncer, Jeremy bum tosses Bertrand at Arcadia and hopes that’ll gives Vayle an opening to let loose, before the human bolts deeper into the castle with the others in tow.
