The Paper Rose Society (Event)

Callia would go flying back as the force of their two Ceros impacted. The wounds inflicted by this attack would allow Vayle and Estrella just enough time to plan as the Visored women slowly regained consciousness. But something was a bit different about her as she awoke. Her movements seemed...Unnatural, almost twitchy in a way. Whatever was happening to her seemed to be so distracting that she did not notice Vayle going in to attack Eleanor. Something which Eleanor found rather distasteful… As so as Vayle launch a strike at Eleanor, the lady would raise her hand, freezing the Kido in place as it slowly dissipated into thin air. She’d look to Vayle with a smug smirk. “Compared to me, you are less than a mortal” Eleanor would remark before looking back to Callia. “Lady Callia, go fetch Estrella back for me. After this is all over we will need a serious chat with Poppi about your failures…”

Whatever Eleanor said seemed to of connected with Eleanor, albiet not in the way she was expecting. Callia would fall to one need and grasp at her head, ripping away at the mask as a strange substance appeared from thin air and added onto the mask. Callia would begin to shriek as if in pain before looking to Vayle.

“Lady Callia, do what you are-”

Callia would launch herself to Vayle with murderous intent, slashing away at her with unimaginable speed before hopping back and preparing a Cero. More and more of her body was covered with the strange substance as her Reiryoku began to feel more like that of a Hollow than a Shinigami. Eleanor, for the first time, would give a confused glance. “You wretched… Fine” She’d glance to Vayle. “If you are so intent on stopping my plans, it seems you have succeeded. You had better hope that you die today, because what I have in store for you after shall be far worse than death…”

Kigurashi gave a nod as Estrella handed him the Condensed Reiatsu. He’d paused and go wide eyed as an enormous Reiryoku purveyed the entire mansion. It wasn’t the Menos Grande, this was something much more powerful and familiar… Kigurashi would cuss under his breath as he broke the crystal, absorbing the power it held before launching himself forward. He’d look behind him towards Estrella who he hoped was following him.

“We need to get in there quickly, I’ll try restraining Mizu with a Sealing Kido, you guys cover me while I work on it!” Kigurashi would kick open the door and looked at the destructive battle before him. The Shinigami clasped his hands together and held them out, intertwining his fingers in a complicated way before slowly chanting an incantation. It would take a bit to fully power up, but the full incantation was needed to ensure the least amount of chance for fizzling.

Revenant would charge forward to the Menos Grande and slash at it. The strikes connected with the beast, and cut deep gashes into it’s robes/torso. But for all the damage Revenant dealt it didn’t seem to fully affect the Menos. In fact, the Menos seemed to not notice the strikes at all, simply looking down on the small man before charging another round of Ceros. Whether the slashes actually caused any damage or not, Revenant could not tell.

Among the rubble of the collapsed roof, various civilians would begin to crawl out. Some looked up at the Menos Grande in utter horror. Others were just dazed and confused, having no idea what could of possibly caused all this mayhem. Half of the mansion was crumbled into complete rubble, Rex’s artifacts nowhere to be seen. Any servants were also strangely found to be missing.

Eleanor would cross her arms, not bothering to track Estrella as she circled the woman. The annoyance at her plans failing was evident on her face, the once smug grin she held now shifted to a dissatisfied sneer. As soon as Estrella went in for the punch, Eleanor’s eyes would lock onto her as if she had been tracking the girl for the entire time. “Gedwolgod Bordwudu” A large disc of purple Energy would form in front of her, allowing Estrella’s fist through just past the wrist before solidifying and trapping her arm. Eleanor would look at Estrella like a disappointed mother.

“You have such potential. I just simply cannot bring myself to ending your life…” She’d glance to Vayle with complete disdain. “Perhaps watching that cow die will knock some sense into you... Bealobend” Purple chains would suddenly burst from the floor, each tipped with a short knife. Several of these chains would launch toward’s Estrella’s back, slicing through her armor as if it wasn’t even there. Though there would be no true wound, the pain from the knives was more than real enough. “That should keep you from interfering. If she somehow survives this fight, she shall be far too weakened to fight me. All the better, Poppi can take her time killing her” Eleanors sights would return back to the fight. “Hm. Perhaps we’ll make you kill her. Or at least deal the final blow. I’m thinking decapitation…”

As Vayle began to transfer her Reishi to Callia, the woman would spasm in pain, trying to rip Vayle off as if she was some sort of parasite. Kigurashi, upon seeing this, would grimace and pause the incantation. The bluish energy which flowed into Callia would slowly begin to shift into a purplish color as her own, Red Reiatsu began to push back into Vayle. “Damn it, stop! If you keep that up you’ll just end up a hollow instead!” Kigurashi would shout to no avail. After seeing Vayle would not be swayed, he’d give a frustrated sigh before finally finishing the incantation. “Roppo Fujin!” A 3 Dimensional Cross made of transparent green energy would form around the two. A bright light would begin to form in front of Callia, a final desperate attack to remove the pain she was feeling right now. Slowly the light would form into a large sphere of immense power, before exploding, luckily being fully contained by the Roppo Fujin.

Eleanor stood, quietly observing the scene. The smoke which filled the barrier made it so there was no way to view inside the barrier, but it seemed there was no movement. After waiting a few moments, Kigurashi would release the Roppo Fujin and run over. Callia would be lying on the ground with a cracked Hollow mask still covering her face. Quickly he would kneel down and begin performing Kaido to try and keep her stable. Eleanor would sigh.

“Such a shame Kigurashi. You two would of made such wonderful Flowers…”

Kigurashi glanced behind him with a scowl that could make even the toughest warrior quiver. Callia would begin to cough as the Kaido finally took effect. Giving a sigh of relief, Kigurashi would stand and set his sights on Eleanor. Though Mizu was not fully healed, she was stable enough to not die.

“Would you kindly shut the fuck up?” He’d state before holding out his hand, a Golden rope firing through one of the doors and wrapping around his arm. Eventually his Zanpakuto would come flying into his hand, which he pointed at Eleanor. “That room you kept my powers suppressed and sapped. Looks like it’s an even playing field again”

“You couldn’t defeat me the first time, what makes you think you can do it this time?” Eleanor would ask with a grin. Kigurashi would run a hand along his Zanpakuto and closed his eyes. “Because I was holding back” He’d open his eyes, which now glowed a bright golden color. “Bankai”

A golden aura would burst out from Kigurashi and cascade throughout the entire room, actually forcing Eleanor to stumble back. The woman’s face was in utter surprise at the sight of the man activating a Bankai. “You little…” She’d growl to the shinigami who was now donning a golden and white suit of armor. Eleanor would hold a hand behind her and slowly began to form a portal as Kigurashi made his way over to the women, fully prepared to end her life. “You think you’ve won you dog?! Don’t make me laugh! I broke Mizu! Killed hundreds! You think you can defeat me?!” Kigurashi would not respond, simply continuing to make his way forwards. “You’ve failed at everything Kigurashi…” She’d mutter before fully opening the portal, maneuvering the chains embedded in Estrella to try and throw her through. Whether it worked or not, Eleanor would follow behind, quickly closing it just in time as Kigurashi brought his Zanpakuto down.

“Damn it!” He’d shout as his Zanpakuto slammed into the ground. Quickly he would glance behind him. “Is that…” He’d look over to Mizu, then to Vayle. “I have to get her out of here. She’s in a critical condition still, injured beyond what my Kaido can repair. I know someone who can help her…” He’d hold out his hand and form a few large golden Crystals. “My Bankai, aside from increasing my Kido powers allows me to transfer some of my powers to others. Sort of like how Crystalized Reiatsu is made. If you guys use these, you’ll gain enough power to take down that Menos Grande. Good luck, and thank you for your help” After handing her the Crystals, he’d lean down and pick up Mizu before disabling his Bankai and disappearing.

The Menos Grande would let out a shriek as the rocket shattered a portion of it’s mask. The creature would begin to sway back and forth as energy built up around it, slowly reforming the mask. It’s Blank white eyes would scan the area trying to find what had just struck it, finally setting its sights on the small armored man. It would shift slight, leaning back as Two Cero began to charge in front of its eyes. After about a minute of charging it would fully unleash the cero on the general area where Revenant was at. There were dozens of survivors who were instantly vaporized by the Ceros, the other survivors screaming and running in fear.

(Using the crystals will fully restore your health and reishi to full, as well as allowing you to choose ONE legendary technique to use. There are enough crystals for everyone)

Vayle looked back as the power transfer happened with a grunt of frustration as the hollow energy flowed back into her. it felt like liquid fire burning into her veins... but it seemed like it was at least buying a bit of time. As Kigurashi hit Lady callia - who she realized was actually Mizu this whole time, she stumbled to one knee.

The thought bothered her, and not just because of the fact she'd taken in a lot of hollow energy... This... should really feel more alien and do more damage to her, didn't she? It didn't matter. she had a job to do before she could think about things like that.

As she stood to deal with Eleanor, though, she saw a chain wrap it's way around Estrella's body. her body went suddenly numb as she heard Estrella's voice, her quiet assurance.

"Estrella... No, don't do this!" Vayle would say, rushing forward. her face broke completely as she realized what Estrella was doing, as horror came across her face.

"Estrellaaaa!"

The portal did not answer her cries as it disappeared.

And Vayle felt like she was about to split apart.

It was the first time, but why did it feel so familiar? Why did losing someone she cared about feel like someone dragging a knife through an open wound? Why...

Vayle clutched her fist. The why didn't matter. She wouldn't forget the sight of Estrella vanishing. She also wouldn't forget watching Eleanor retreat behind her.

"Eleanor..." The Death god breathed, feeling a hatred that she hadn't known through all her life. it was far rawer than her battle with the revenant, far stronger than any desire she'd ever known.

"I will kill you."

Vayle turned to her fellow shinigami, Kigurashi, with a seemingly bored expression. Her voice wasn't loud, or boisterous - it was small and quiet, the voice of someone desperately trying to hold onto enough self-control to still form words. "Killing a menos is still my duty as a soul reaper. Some of the damage Eleanor's done today needs to be reversed." she would add in a flat voice that just barely held the venom behind it, before turning To deal with the menos, taking in the crystallized reishi.

It was instant, the burst of power, and at any other time, she might have been riding this high with a broad grin.

Right now...

She turned with a flat, blank, doll-like expression that cracked just so at it's edges.

A single step forward was quickly accompanied by completely disappearing from view as she Appeared in front of the Menos Grande.

the red of her aura suffused out as she stared directly at the Menos.

"You've already killed many of the guests, huh?" Vayle would ask, before turning her head to see the Revenant. "...Thanks for saving who you could." She'd add, before turning back to the Hollow.

With this much extra reishi, Vayle could probably fire off a bunch of master sparks, take the damn thing's head off...

"Well... I'll be back."

Vayle blinked back tears, choosing to focus instead on the menos in front of her. No. She wanted to make sure this thing hurt..

"Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy! Boil forth and deny! Grow numb and flicker! Disrupt sleep! Crawling queen of iron! Eternally self-destructing doll of mud! Unite! Repulse! Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness!" Vayle yelled out. At the same time, she clapped her hands together, channeling every bit of energy she had into the casting, making it a two-fold, then three-fold cast from the same incantation.

"Hado Ninety! Kurohitsugi!"


A massive black Box would appear, dwarfing even the Menos grande, before enclosing the target. The gravitic force would cause any ordinary human to kneel just from proximity, as Vayle channeled considerable portions of her own reishi into this death sentence of a kido.

"Die. I've no time for you."
