Revenant continued his strikes against the hollow, but each seemed to be blocked or dodged in some way. The armored man was starting to get angrier, with each missed attack his rage and reiatsu grew. Eventually his red and blback aura would be at it's peak. Until his breaking point, El'gan said that he was more of an animal than the beastly hollows, the plus would grin before shouting with more anger then he had ever before: "I AM an animal!" Vayle's attack had just grazed past the arrancar, but the two of them had a trick up their sleeve. She must have remembered the time he had caught her punch... As the attack began to pass by, Revenant's now giant dark aura would lash out from his blades and collide with the purple flame. A brilliant dark purple explosion would occur point blank to the hollow. he doubted it would harm the creature much, but would be more than enough to shake the guy up for a decisive strike. Channeling further rage into his blades, the would gleam with a red flame as he bolted in to begin another round of slashes. This time however, El'gan would find that each blow was more powerful and precise than the last, and Revenant's aura of hatred would felt by all within a mile. "I'll slaughter you here and now!"Vayle Cameo

Vayle grimaced, as the blast shot back into El'gan. The flames burned through a section of the arrancar's shoulder, leaving a superficial but noticeable burn mark. "hrrng..." El'gan cried out, more in shock than in true pain. "How did you manage..."
The hollow was pushed back as Revenant's aura grew hotter, the avatar of hatred catching the instant that the Haien left him off-guard and taking full advantage as the Arrancar brought up his scythe to block, only managing to stop the first few slashes before several made their mark. sparks flew from Revenant's blades as thin cuts started to be made on his hierro. Vayle wasn't slow on the uptake, charging her reactor once again as she got ready to fire another attack while Revenant had El'gan cornered....
The Lord of the Dead had other plans. one hand came up to block Revenant's attack, before a machine-gun series of jabs blasted the Armored titan straight in the stomach with more than enough force to bend armor. At the same time, El'gan pointed his Scythe towards Vayle. "The animal is too straightforward to beat me on his own, but you..."
Vayle turned to dodge, to get out of the way, but she didn't know what exactly was coming next, and it cost her. A Small, tinged blast of red energy shot out from the hollow's scythe like a bullet, and a hole was burned through Vayle's stomach.
"Vayle! We need to retreat! get out of.."
Mahoutsukai's response was cut off into dizzy nonsense as El'gan disappeared, though.
It took a moment for Vayle to Realize what had happened, as she looked down to her stomach. She couldn't feel any pain - as far as she knew, other than the other attack, she was fine. but why did she feel so weak...
It was then that the scythe blade caught her eye. It wasn't coming out of a handle.
"Goodnight then, little trickster. I'll make sure you're put to good use for me." El'gan whispered from behind her.
Vayle turned to answer, but as blood fell from her mouth, she found she couldn't quite manage it, and fell face-first to the ground, shivering.
---
El'gan turned to finish off the Revenant soon after. "Now we've gotten rid of the witch, I can get back to playing exterminator-"
The man's statement would be interrupted by a soft blue light arcing from behind the combatants, before hitting El'gan from behind and smashing him through several buildings.
"W-what? There's no way a human..." The arrancar managed, pushing himself back up to one knee after a couple failed attempts left him planting his face into the dirt. it was obvious the attack had knocked the wind from him. "...Tch. I didn't have my hierro prepared for that attack."
Standing next to a half-conscious Vayle, Olive glared back with resolute eyes.
"I. Don't. Like. You."

Revenant's mindless attacks were blocked one by one, even with all his might the arrancar seemed to be able to block everything he could muster. That meant the plus would be little more than a distraction for Vayle to get a shot in, but that was okay. He didn't care how the hollow died as long as it was brutal. Even now, Revenant's rage would grow stronger, it was seemingly endless. This was the only way he knew how to fight, emotion with every strike, rage with every strike. Even when they failed to connect he would continue to persist, up until the moment that Vayle was shot from the sky. Revenant would watch on in horror as the woman fell, his anger was halted as he took in the sight. Had this man actually killed the Shinigami? It was true that he was no fan of hers, but he couldn't help a strange feeling. He would slowly take off his helmet, and then the rage would return. Just when he thought that his power had reached their limits, an explosive black and red energy nearly twice as powerful than before would emerge from deep inside him. This time his anger was not of frustration, but that of righteousness. He longed for vengeance of Vayle's falling, and a new insatiable desire for justice took hold of him as he had never been held before. The blades would speak, "You have longed for true rage for quite some time, but rage without warrant is weak. Though you don't fully understand it, you have experienced loss. This is the most powerful form of rage, and we will grant you the ability to take revenge!"
The armored man paid no attention as olive jumped in to attack the man, the rage flooded his mind to where he was hardly in control of his own actions anymore. He would let out an unearthly shout "RRRAAAAHHHHH!" as the energy would further explode from him. Revenant would raise his twin zanpakuto into the air, and each would become orbs of red energy. He would bring the two orbs down in front of him, and they would fuse into one. The single orb would fire a ray of blazing hot spiritual energy at El'gan, an attack that was more powerful than anything Revenant had ever produced before... Vayle Cameo

Vayle felt, rather than saw, Revenant's power soar to new heights. The return of Olive, as well, made her groan and cringe as she felt El'gan take both hits.
She couldn't look up, but she heard El'gan's voice scream out in pain clearly enough, as the warrior was driven back by the blast, both hands focusing on each orb.
"You... Pathetic... lower... life-forms."
The arrancar felt both blasts overcome his guard, the burning blasts of energy overwhelmed the lord of the dead, and he was caught within the bright crimson blast. Both hands would be covered in burn wounds as the dust settled. and the arrancar stood with heavy panting.
Off to Revenant's side, however, Vayle would seemingly get up. "m-mahoutsukai?"
Rainbow threads would pull themselves over Vayle's chest, as a beatiful amber entered her eyes. the Shinigami got up awkwardly, jerked up by strings that held the barely conscious shinigami standing. El'gan might have taken notice of this, were it not for his defences suddenly being pressed by a young Olive, energy streaming from her little fists as she forced the arrancar back.
Meanwhile, "Vayle" popped up near Revenant, rainbow light streaming from her.
"Revenant." Mahoutsukai would say, her chipper, cheerful tones replacing Vayle's usual. "Shale's zanpakuto. No time to explain that." She would say, the miniature reactor still held to her back. "She's not doing good, and El'gan's still standing. I need you to force him to release for me." She would say. "if you can force him to release his scythe, there's an instant that I can smack him when he's weakest." And with that, Mahoutsukai would fall down to one of her borrowed knees. If Revenant wanted to make his movement, there was no other moment.
"Mahoutsukai..."
"Shhh... you focus on being okay." The zanpakuto would whisper. "I'll keep you safe. I always have, right?"

The Plus has given that last attack he made everything he had, and even managed to damage the arrancar. His rage would have continued to grow if not for Vayle standing up. That meant she had been stabilized, she would be okay, the sense of justice and vengeance would lessen. After the attack had concluded, steam would radiate from his body. He would be panting heavily until he heard the voice of Vayle's zanpakuto, it was soft and appeared to be much more innocent than Vayle herself. The armored man would listen carefully to her plan, getting the scythe from El'gan would not usually be an easy task, but the hollows hands had just been damaged. It may be just enough to allow him to knock away the weapon. Revenant would give the spirit a nod, and speak "It's rare that a zanpakuto speaks directly to someone. I suppose she is desperate right now though... Yes, I believe I have the martial prowess to pull that off... Be ready for when I make my move." The two blades would materialize themselves back into the berserker's hands, and he would dash through the air toward the hollow yet again. His next strikes would have to be powerful, and carefully placed. The first slash would come with his right arm in an attempt to decapitate the arrancar, but in actuality was only a distraction for the follow up attack he would make. With his left arm, he would bring his other sword around to slice a gash against the creature's hand that was clutching onto the Scythe. With any luck, it would be just enough pain to force El'gan to drop it... He hoped Vayle was watching him fight, because he wanted a rematch more than ever... Vayle Cameo

Mahoutsukai gave a curt nod as Vayle looked on half-conscious, fighting to stay awake even as her uniform was soaked red. She could guess mahoutsukai had only about a minute, and in her mind, her vision started to go dark. She wanted so badly to go to sleep, as the ache suffused her body.
"Just a little longer, Vayle. Just stay awake a little longer." Mahoutsukai whispered with her borrowed senses, rainbow energy coalescing around Vayle's hands. The death god looked towards El'gan with golden fire burning in her eyes. The Plus struck with every intention of cutting the Arrancar to little bits.
Mahoutsukai took a deep breath, trying her best to keep Vayle's body running. she only had enough for one good shot, but luckily, Vayle had fulfilled all the conditions she'd needed.
With the breath in, energy streamed from the area around them. each stream of magic sources itself from a sight where Vayle had used Mahoutsukai's power. The energy returned to the reactor on Vayle's back quickly, filling her body with reishi. Unfortunately, reishi wasn't enough to stabilize the young Death God's condition, but it would allow Mahoutsukai to use one of her own hidden sleights.
Olive had jumped back in at this point, and with the two of them cuts and bruises were starting to speckle El'gan's body. The lord of the dead wasn't quite willing to fall for Revenant's next ploy - With a casual burst of sonido, he chose to come closer to the revenant, before firing a point-blank cero from his eyes.
Taking the distraction, El'gan pulled back, black reishi seeping from the air and covering his scythe in slick oil, painting it a wet, shining black. "I have had enough! Blaspheme, Hereje-"
Mahoutsukai dashed in, feeling the burn as one of Shale's legs gave out and she was reduced to one knee behind El'gan. The collected energy of all the expended blasts Mahoutsukai had put out pooled in her hand, before she lobbed it, like one would lob a pot, directly towards El'gan "-Magical Ruin: Deep Ecological bomb!"
Using the last of Vayle's energy, the shinigami hopped backwards as the arrancar turned with a snarl that turned into a surprise yelp, as his body stood mid-transformation.
The Blast struck with a thud and erupted, forming a miniature mushroom cloud that reached up several storied as El'gan the Terrible was wreathed in blue flames.
When it was over, Mahoutsukai breathed a sigh of relief, limping away, towards the other important business here. She needed to speak to Olive. She had to, before the day was done.

Revenant's strikes had missed, but did cause an adequate distraction for Vayle's magic. Before he could revel in their victory however, he would be struck with a powerful cero blast that would send him flying towards the ground like a meteorite. Colliding into the dirt, the Pluses body would cause a large, dusty, explosion. Around him with be a small crater from the crash. He looked as though he had sustained serious injuries, but would stand up from the ground just in time to watch Vayle's magic do it's worst against the arrancar. The blue flames were quite the sight for the armored man to behold, they had defeated the abomination. Though he was covered in blood and dust, he would slowly limp towards Olive to simply state "Good work... I think there's someone who would like to speak with you. It's Vayle, but also not Vayle... It's complicated" The armored man would genitally push his fist against the small girls shoulder, showing respect to her as a warrior, and start moving towards Vayle's body. From what he could tell, Vayle was in bad condition as her soul had mentioned. Upon reaching her, he would be without any anger. This was a feeling he had not felt in a long time. The plus would reach into a pouch strapped to his side and pull out another crystal. It was a condensed Reiatsu, capable of healing wounds at an extremely fast rate, and it would become vital here. He would take her body's hand, and place the small crystal in her palm. Seeing her under the total control of another was strange, what he said next was meant for Vayle to hear, rather than her blade: "Vayle, despite our differences, I don't want to see you die. I kill none but the hollows, and arrancar like this... You've tapped into the power that anger can yield in the past, but if you did that, than I theorize you can tap into other emotions as well. I can do the same. Next we battle, it will be done with passion."

Vayle's mouth pursed slightly, as the zanpakuto took the pill for Vayle's sake. It only took a little while for the effects to stop showing - Vayle's chest stopped heaving ike it was going to explode at any second, and The bloodier wounds started to close up together. the wounds were still serious, but they weren't mortal. Mahoutsukai looked to the Revenant, as Vayle dimly acknowledged the statement. "Vayle would've wanted to thank you. You did keep her safe, so you have my gratitude for that. And you kept Olive safe." The zanpakuto stated, looking at Revenant with fierce golden eyes. "With that said... don't expect much more out of me. I still watched you hurt my partner time and time again. And not just physically, either." The blade would respond. "...But the kid's here so I'm going to be nice and say 'thank you'." The blade would respond. "Anyways..." The zanpakuto would add, looking to Olive before wrapping her in a hug. "I'm so glad you're safe!" the death god yelled. Olive's response was a sniffling as she was held up, clinging to Vayle's shikashusho. "There was that guy and he was really strong and then he hurt you and then..." "Shhh, shhhh..." 'Vayle' would respond, holding her close. "I've got you. you're safe now..." " Awww, isn't that cute? Almost makes me forget that kid just helped take down my favorite con artist!" The intruder said, appearing from around Revenant's shoulders. " And if it isn't the crazy hollow hunter instead! Revenant!...Can I call ya Rev? Of course I can. What a powerful fighter! And such a tactical genius too! You went from attacks like 'swing hard' to 'swing a lot harder'! How do you come up with 'em!" The creature was listed amongst powerful hollows. an immensely powerful, if recent, hollow known only as 'the snatcher'. His real appearance was consistently hidden behind a shifting wall of shadows, so many theorized on if he was a true hollow or an arrancar, but his crimes were far more solid: Children. A record of thousands of children kidnapped and stolen with high spiritual pressure. According to legend, he had a particular obsession with hollowfying kids. his attempted arrest listed a total of twenty-four dead shinigami taken out over a long period of time, many of whom were seated with the strongest being a former fifth seat. The height of independent hollow power, and also the height of their evil. " Anyways, I came here to take my debt from Elly-boy, assuming that treasure trove is still hidden around here somewhere, and..." The creature would look up at Vayle and Olive with greedy eyes. " So Elly wasn't kidding. I really am an uncle! I'm so happy I could twist this plus's head off for kicks, but I'm already late, so..." The hollow disappeared from it's position behind revenant, sinking through the ground, before reappearing from a crack in the pavement behind Vayle. " So I'm going to ask you to give me the kid, and every time you say, no, we rip off a limb. Simple enough game for you to understand, Death god?"

Revenant was about to converse further with Vayle's spirit when he felt a strange chill go up his spine, and that was worrisome. He had never been spooked by a hollow before, this time he was. He would do his very best to hide it, but the reitasu was impressive. After a few moments it would speak of his triumphs in a mocking tone, "Simply and weak opponents require simple solutions. Why expend my tactical capabilities against a being that doesn't deserve it..." of course the armored man was bluffing, but the tone of voice he constantly spoke in masked this statement well. Opening his right hand, a zampakuto would form. The creature's power did feel high, but he would not be in capable of lasting long against revenant while he was fighting to protect someone. "I doubt you've come here to chat freak. What do you want?" a black and red aura for rage would slowly begin to surface from the armored man's body. It was weaker than before, but still very capable of combat. Before his very eyes, he would watch the hollow disappear and reappear behind Vayle. After that little speech he had made, the hollow slayer knew the guy must have been after Olive just like the rest. Even making threats to tear her limb from limb. There was something he knew that this guy didn't though. Earlier in the day Revenant has casted enkosen on the girl, it would give her a layer of protection. This would mean that Revenant had one shot to repel the hollow, and the best way to do that was with Olive's own power. Revenant would look at the small girl, "Olive, do as you did before and copy me exactly!" Revenant would muster up just enough power for one final technique "Hondu 37! Thorns!" Spectral thorns would suddenly surround the young girl's body, if she followed suit the amount of them would double. If this thing wanted to take her, it would get shredded to pieces first. The Snatcher looked at Revenant's power with a slight sneer. "Rev, buddy, pal, friend, dude..." The creature snickered, as the hondu's came through. "I get it. You're committed to your job. it's great. I understand it. But, y'know, I was more talking to the half-dead death god because she, y'know, has her hands around the kid."
The golden light in Vayle's eyes would fade as she found herself properly conscious. "You are not" Putting a hand on olive." Vayle Stated just loudly enough that Olive and Revenant could get away with the hondu while the creature was distracted. The reactor behind her back continued charging, though, and Vayle smiled as she looked towards the creature. "You aren't putting a finger on her-"
The creature leaned in with the statement, reaching a hand out as the two finished the hondu, and before Vayle could even move. The spikes shot into the hollows hand and... seemed to do absolutely nothing, as the creature leaned in and a frightened olive tried to squirm away.
"Jokes on you I don't even have fingers!" The hollow chuckled, ruffling Olive's hair with one hand. "Now Uncle Snatcher's going to go ahead and take you away and maybe you'll see your-"
The Snatcher's voice stopped in it's tracks, as it suddenly moved it's hand from Olive's head. It peered into Vayle's eyes, and Vayle brought up a charging reactor. "...Wait a minute. it's... So that's what you look like, now?" The creature would yell, before pulling straight back. Putting up his gloved hands like he was trying to judge a picture, the creature grinned widely, before giving off a high chuckle. "Ohhh... I see how it is! That's clever! And who knew you would turn out that much of a looker"
"Bite your tongue before I rip it out, fool!" Vayle yelled.
"Now that's not very nice. Oh well, who can expect more from you, given...you..." The creature continued, before scratching his head. "Listen... circumstances have changed. Mistress Saiko would be ever-so-angry with me if I took you out, and besides..."
Olive glared daggers at the creature as they kept at their stand-off. "The kid's exactly where she needs to be, so I suppose I can count on you to take care of this one. I'll talk to you later. Let me boss know I miss her! Toodles!"
And with that, the creature disappeared through the portal, leaving an entirely silent Vayle.
"...I'm about to open a senkaimon." Vayle would finally say to Revenant with all the exhaustion of an old woman. "It's got matter-reishi converters, so we'll be good to leave. Just... get out of here for now. Thanks for the help." Vayle will add. "I've got a funny feeling the Revenant's going to europe next, so definitely go to europe so I can fight you, okay?" She asked with a very precise tone. "I'll be searching europe for the next two months, so make sure you're in europe for the next two months so people can catch you."
Hopefully it was subtle enough for the plus to get. Vayle smiled and headed through the senkaimon, Olive in tow. "Goodbye for now, Revenant."
