Dark Souls (Revenant v Takano)

    Silence filled the air as Takano stood, leaning on Chiyu and praying that this fight was finally over. As soon as Revenant was struck by his Hado, he was knocked to the ground. After a few convulsions it would appear he wasn’t getting up. Even so, Takano waited a few moments to ensure the foe wasn’t trying to trick him. Finally, he’d fall to a knee and let out a sigh of relief. He beat the Hollowslayer at long last.

    “Chiyu, he’s not dead, right?”

    “He’s still breathing…”

    Takano would push off the ground and over to the unconscious plus, rolling up whatever was left of his shredded sleeves. If Takano was to guess, Revenant would suffer from third degree burns with some minor bruising from the impact of his Chiyukaze. Reaching into his pocket, Takano produced a small Reishi net which he tossed over the armored man. As Takano stood he would press against his ear and activate his communicator.

    “This is Researcher Takano Hirai, my mission has failed due to outside interference. The cause of which has been neutralized. I’m preparing for transport but I could use some backup in case he wakes up” Takano would glance down at the man. While it was true he had some serious wounds, Takano would not bother healing him. It wasn’t out of spite or anything, more so that it was easier to deal with an injured combatant than a fully healed one. There was also the risk of him waking during the healing. For now Takano would just sit back and wait for help to arrive.
