Revenant had recently survived a scrap with a member of the soul society, a strange-looking soul reaper. He knew the soul society had been hunting him, but have couldn't afford to stop his crusade against the hollows now. He walked the suburbs of an American city, looking for sources of high spiritual power possessed by the creatures. A woman, who worked as an informant for him, gave him a tip that a large bat-like hollow had been seen in the area. It wasn't anything special, but it was still a threat to the people who lived there. With his luck, a soul reaper would probably have gotten to the thing first. Just the though of such a vail creature being granted a calm afterlife filled him with rage. The same red aura would surround him as he thought this, and his eyes would teem with malice under his helm. "Come out hollow, you've committed you last crime..."
Perhaps if it was mid-day he would be able to spot the creature, but he was here at the dead of night. It was a bat-like hollow after all, meaning it would be a nocturnal creature. maybe he was in the wrong spot? He would think this to himself until he would hear a "Woosh" in the air above him. Sure enough, there it was hovering over him with a hungry look in it's eyes. the creature would speak, "My my my, what do we have here? A snack it seems... Wait a moment, that armor of yours..." Revenant would nod once before drawing his Zanpakuto. His name was known by many of the hollows, he was more brutal and hatful than the quincys, and he certainly wasn't hiding like they were. Without speaking a word, the plus would leap into the sky running against the air as he did. Eventually reaching the bat, and slicing a large gash across it's chest. "You'll regret that Revenant!" it would shout this and a small battle would ensue. The beast would bite into Revenant's shoulder, he would retaliate with a slash to it's wings, back and forth they would duel for several minutes. Eventually, the hollow's body would fall to the ground as Revenant clenched it's skull in his hand... BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Takano had been observing the Hollow, nicknamed “Bloodbite”, for around a day now. It was a highly interesting one, as it had evolved mammalian-like wings even though Hollows had no real need for such appendages. Though Takano doubted that Hollowfication had anything based in evolution to it, he couldn’t help but wonder if these wings provided any sort of benefits? Or was it a simple manifestation of the host’s soul? So many unanswered questions, so little time. If only he could- “Taki, there’s a mean man down there…” Takano tilted his head at Chiyu’s remark. He hadn’t...Oh, wait, there was another Reiryoku. It would seem he was so caught up in his own observations that he didn’t notice it. Upon futher investigation he finally would sight the owner of this reiryoku. It was a strange, large man in heavy...metal...armor...no...No.. “NO!” Takano would shout as the figure decapitated the hollow. He would swiftly hop down to examine the body, hoping for any sign of life to no avail. Takano would turn his gaze to the large figure, almost seething with anger at this. “Do you KNOW how long I have been studying this guy? YOU STUPID ARMORED DOLT!” Takano would shout. “I don’t give a shit about your bull about hunting hollows, it’s not my job to deal with big dumb asses who have to wear armor to fight hollows like a PUSSY, but do you know how much data I could of gathered from this guy?! HE HAD WINGS! AND YOU CUT HIS HEAD OFF! WHAT THE HELL MAN!?” Takano would sigh, pressing a hand to his forehead. Weeks of research, a day of direct observations all ruined. “Taki, he’s not very nice… Let’s go…”

The man reveled in the defeat of the creature, his rage was satisfied at this unholy beast's destruction. Things seemed to quieting down, and the creature's body was fading out of existence. That was until another man seemed to run up to him out of nowhere. Revenant chuckled at Takano berated him for being a "Dolt" and a "Pussy" for wearing armor. Truth be told his armor was overkill given his natural spiritual power, but he wanted to always feel in control when he was fighting a hollow. Wearing armor was just another way to help him overpower an already helpless foe. These remarks did not annoy him as much as what he would hear next. The man was gathering data on hollows? Was he serious? "Gathering data?" An aura of red furious spiritual energy would surround him as he spoke. "While you were gathering data from a safe distance that abomination could have killed an innocent by stander. You call yourself a Shinigami whelp? What if you watched an innocent man die because you decided to let this creature roam around?" Revenant had reached his boiling point, he didn't care if this guy was a gardener of soul society, this man would have to be taught a lesson. Revenant would fall from the sky landing a few feet from Takano with his blade drawn. Street lights would flicker around them, and the pluses Reiryoku began to intensify with his rage and resentment of what the man was doing. Without warning, he would rush towards the Shinigami attempting to hit him with multiple slashes from his Zanpakuto. Perhaps this would teach the guy some manners... Takano HiraiBATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

It was a good thing Takano had pulled up that Enkosen when he did. As soon as the armored fiend started his first bout of strikes, Takano would throw his Enkosen up, blocking most of the strikes. That being said, it didn’t prevent the force of the strikes from knocking him back, almost to the ground. Takano spun around, catching himself just in time by bouncing off with the Enkosen shield. “People getting injured? I’m here to make sure that doesn’t happen you dolt! I’m a researcher and a Kido Healer. And yeah, It may not be ideal, but at least I’m not killing hollows who could be innocent souls! What if that hollow was a child? Or an old widow? Hollows aren’t just monsters, they’re trapped souls which you are actively trying to kill! Hypocritical much?!” As another strike came in, Takano would raise the Enkosen to block the strike, before drawing his Zanpakuto and pointing it at the armored fool. “Cry, Chiyu!” The Zanpakuto would suddenly lengthen into a large Halberd as he released his Shikai. As it finally finished reforming, the head of the halberd would become surrounded by a greyish aura, the blank template which would allow Chiyu to exploit someone’s weakness. “Time to see what makes you tick, Chiyukaze!” Suddenly the greyish aura would turn a crimson red before eruption outwards to Revenant. Revenant's onslaught had been temporarily halted by his opponent's Enkosen. It was a common, but certainly effective incantation among the soul reapers. This efficiency was further proven by the way it allowed Takano to set up a counter attack. Revenant would grit his teeth in anger as Takano called him a hypocrite for slaying the hollows. He was well aware that the hollows were once human souls, but now they were monsters. "That is true soul reaper, they are indeed human. Humans who have committed irreparable crimes while mascaraing as these abominations. That is all I have to say on that matter!" The plus would step back as he noticed Takano preparing for some sort of big attack. This Shinigami didn't seem to be much of a fighter, so Revenant was quite interested to see what he would do next. Within a few moments, the man would suddenly produce a halberd. If he hadn't been wearing his helmet, he would have laughed directly at Takano. Insulting his foe for wearing armor while he used a weapon to keep people at range? Yet Revenant was the hypocritical one. An eruption of strange power would suddenly be brought forth from the weapon, an impressive attack indeed, but one Revenant would simply side step. Even with his heavy armor weighing him down, the attack's speed wasn't anything of significance. Bringing up his Zanpakuto yet again, revenant would retaliate with a series of three slashes, one for each of the man's arms and then chest. “Sins as a Hollow?! They don’t get a freaking choice! You really need to read up on how hollows- Damn it!” Takano would shout as the large figure threw another set of strikes. “Shinigami purify them and turn them back into souls!” Takano would add in as he hopped to the side of a slash meant for his chest. Quickly, he would roll on the ground to put some distance between himself and the armored fool. “And I didn’t exactly get a choice in my Zanpakuto, you got a choice with that armor you pussy!” He’d shout. Takano honestly didn’t think he would win this battle, the shouting and insults were simply meant to make him feel better. Quickly he would knock another slash meant for his right arm, only to be struck in the left. While the attack was minimal, it seemed to leave behind some sort of burning energy behind. Even with Kaido, the wound still felt like it was on fire. “Chiyu, what can you tell about this asshat?” Takano asked as he ran away, still being chased by Revenant. “He’s angry and willfully ignorant…”
“Ignorant? What are you talking about?!” Takano would flip around and point Chiyu to Revenant, attempting to strike him once more. “He sees everything in black and white, ignoring anything which contradicts his views…” A zealous, bloodthirsty Hollow hunter with a Zanpakuto? Well, that’s just great! If Takano couldn’t convince him of his wrong doings, what other choice did he have but to fight and die? Running might work, but seeing the man kill that hollow like that… It wasn’t right. Usually he could just say it wasn’t his issue and call it a day, but this… things were getting personal now. “Fine, if he won’t see reason, then I’ll beat it into his empty skull! The more Takano talked on and on about how the hollows were such poor and innocent creatures, the more angry Revenant would get. He was well aware that the human's soul was unable to think rationally while in hollow form, but in his mind, a crime is a crime. If one man killed another, and used the defense of being out of control of their own actions, that man would still be sent to a mental institution and a record of his crime would be kept. As for the world of the dead, it was no different in the eyes of the Revenant. He was a man who lost not only his family, but his entire home town due to the "Innocent" hollows. The mere suggestion that they should not be punished was unfathomable to him. Another bolt of the red energy would fire his direction, this time it had almost hit. Revenant had to quickly duck to avoid the attack, but used it as an opportunity for a counter attack. The plus would reach of the other weapon strapped to his back, one Takano perhaps didn't notice earlier. This weapon was and RPG that fired rockets infused with his own raw hatred. Revenant would quickly kneel to the ground lining up his shot, and then a hissing sound could be heard. The grenade would fly from the weapon at a Ludacris speed, much faster than any normal technology, and attempt to impact the Shinigami. At this point, revenant would let out a maniacal laugh declaring "You Shinigami are all the same! You have the audacity to call me a fool because you could have 'helped' that thing!? Takano spun mid air to dodge the “Missile of pure rage!”. Man, this guy was starting to look more and more like some kind of manga anti hero every second… As he landed, his hand would shoot up to the wound on his left arm, once more attempting to heal the burning sensation he felt coming from it. “I was going to help them, but I had to find them first! Unlike you, I’m not in full plated armor and specialized at killing things! I heal people and research!” Takano would roll on the ground and spin around, much like before. He’d point his Zanpakuto to the armored figure. “Just because you have a murder boner for hollows doesn’t mean you get to kill innocent souls. I won’t allow it…” The head of the halberd would glow again with a greyish aura. “You can beat the crap out of me all you want, but you’re going to have to kill me if you want to keep doing this, because I won’t stop until your hunting days are done” Ehh, bluffing wasn’t Takano’s strong suit. Honestly he wasn’t willing to die, but he was fully serious about stopping this fool. It’s the Quincy issue all over again, if idiots like this were allowed to run wild killing whomever they wished, the balance would be broken. No, it wasn’t right. Takano’s heartbeat began to pick up as he tried thinking of his next move. “Taki…” Chiyu would whisper “Yeah, Chiyu?” “Please don’t die…” “No promises, but I’ll try my best” Takano narrowed his eyes at the armored figure. “Chiyukaze” Another red aura would burst forth from Chiyu, this time with a bit more power behind it. Revenant stood from the ground as the man had seemingly dodged his RPG, no one had managed to dodge that attack before. At the same time however, none of his previous opponents had been true soul reapers. Despite popular belief, Revenant had never killed any souls other than that of hollows. Usually, he would just knock an opponent unconscious and leave them to wake up knowing that they had been defeated by him. He didn't believe in killing the soul reapers, because he knew they wanted to remove the hollows as well, but they didn't have what it took to make the abominations suffer. This man made it clear that he would stop at nothing to try and defeat the plus and all his might, perhaps if that did become the case his "No killing soul reapers" rule would have to change. Of course, Takano would go on about the poor innocent hollows, but to Revenant they were not innocent beings. If he had it his way, all hollows would be transported to hell upon hollowfication. Revenant would grit his teeth before narrowly dodging yet another big energy attack from Takano. This man was slowly but surly becoming more and more of an annoyance, the rage would grow yet again... Revenant would throw his RPG to the ground and charge directly at the Shinigami attempting to strike the man with a series of vicious looking slashes. "You may as well surrender now soul reaper. Another flurry of strikes, eh? Shame, it looked like that RPG was expensive. Takano was beginning to recognize a pattern from the warrior as he attempted to strike. He couldn’t say for sure, but something told him this guy wasn’t really that skilled at Zanjutsu, just fast enough and strong enough to make up for it. The first slash would quickly be slapped to the right with his Halberd’s shaft, the second strike not so much. As Takano rose his Halberd to attempt to block the strike, he would feel a slice across his thigh. Before Revenant’s Zanpakuto could be risen to deal another strike, Takano would slam the Halberd down on it, attempting to trap the sword against the ground. “Surrender? So you can just kill me without a fight? I may not be the best at fighting, but that doesn’t mean I’m a coward…” Takano would raise a finger to Revenant. “Hado 1, Sho” A sudden blast of energy would fire towards Revenant, attempting to knock him back with enough force to make him drop his Zanpakuto. He doubted the warrior would be too hindered without the weapon, but it certainly would help. “Last I checked, I didn’t need to beat someones face in to prove them wrong.
