Vayle watched the blast strike Revenant with an odd thrill, and a chilling grin entered her features. Reishi continued to gather around her, yet it started to blacken and condense unevenly, spiking up and down as she did so. She ignored Revenant's comments on harnessing the power of rage, glaring down at the palm of her free hand as she stood stock still after the blast, flexing and unflexing experimentally, a frustrated look on her face. Her thoughts seemed to be entirely away from Revenant as she looked to her reactor, and then to her basic weapon, standing still even as reishi flowed outward visibly, pouring in droves.

"...Who am I? What am I... doing, again?" The woman thought to herself.

The stillness continued as the Revenant grew closer, until he unleashed his twin strikes. the same loud, booming noise would emanate as Vayle would appear behind the revenant. Vayle would give him a curious expression, like someone trying to figure something out, before a soft grin encapsulated her features.

A small chuckle erupted, as Vayle felt her limbs follow her commands, light as air. Using numerous bursts of that same, loud shunpo, she would appear in all directions, firing off blasts of miniature stars from each one as she did so, each one having an oddly acidic, explosive burst. "Come on, come on, come on! Show me what you've got, plus! You can keep me entertained, right? right?"

Revenant's eyes would widen at the display of power, the stars surrounded him. He had gotten his wish of seeing Vayle's savage side, now he would have to suffer the consequences of bringing it out. As she asked him to entertain her, he knew the fight was about to end yet again. This made his third defeat at Vayle's hands, at least the warmth of the acidic explosion would be nice. The plus closed his eyes, and stood completely still he would simply respond to her, "I've already won..." After that, the various stars would collide into him burning his armor into fluid and searing into his flesh. The man would fall from the air to the ground, heavily injured but still awake. Usually he would allow someone like Vayle to take him back to the soul society, but her rage seemed uncontrollable at the moment.

Revenant would use the smoke of the massive acidic explosion to attempt an escape. He would crawl into a nearby pond, and his armor would cause him to sink to the bottom. Revenant's Reishi signature would be nearly gone, as most of his strength had been drained in the fight. "Vayle is a worthy opponent... Zena I'm going to need you over here after, she calms down a bit..."

Vayle would watch the revenant disappear with a grin. "Where are you going? I thought you wanted to fight! Come here!" The shinigami growled in a savage tone, dashing forward with fell intent, awkward, jerking motions pushing her through the air. As the armed warrior seemed to disappear, however, the death god looked around with a confused look. "Let's see... can't find you anywhere. Can't feel your reishi... Guess I'll just have to level the whole-"

"Vayle! Come back to me!"

Vayle's energy shifted, spiking high and low. "What's... Mahoutsukai?"

The clouds flitting at the edge of Vayle's vision faded as the odd sleepiness that had struck her before suddenly fell. Her body started to fail all at once as she fell straight onto the pavement, her energy draining away like a deflated balloon. "W-what's going on. Why was I..."

The memories of what she had just done finally hit her all at once, And Vayle had to fight hard to hold down the vomit that suddenly came to mind at her actions. She'd behaved shamefully as a shinigami, giving into base emotions, and...

What the hell was that strange energy that clung to her? Why was she acting so strange?

Both questions were buried in intense pain, and Vayle felt herself struggling to get her cell phone out. She managed to alert the 4th division of her sudden distress, right before she collapsed Onto the pavement...

"Damn it..." Vayle cursed, as tears came to her eyes. Revenant wasn't wrong. he'd won. He'd pushed her past her rational limit, and won.
