Two days ago, the soul reaper named "Vayle Cameo" defeated Revenant in intense single combat. Now, he sat in a cell deep within the walls of the soul society. It was true that Zena had carried him off the area, but even though she worked with him, she still needed to appear on the soul society's side. For that reason alone, she had to leave him with the authorities. But she would never leave him without a means of escape. The previous night, a necklace with a mirror attached to it would mysteriously fall into his cell. Revenant would put this item on, and wait for the right moment to strike. As morning came, Revenant woke along with his rage. The necklace shined with spiritual energy, and before the prison guards could utter a sound, the pluses Zanpakuto and armor both returned to him. One of the Shinigami guards, ran into the streets shouting "The Revenant's escaping! We need a high raking Shinigami here now!" The rest of the guards would attempt to hold him in his cell. Those who stood outside the prison would hear a series of loud thuds, shouts of pain, and clashing of metal. After a few minutes, the armored berserk would walk out covered in the blood of the guards. It looked as though he had killed them all, but none of the guards were fatally injured. Step one of the plan was complete, he had escaped before his execution time. Now step two would be far more tricky. The man would need to escape the eyes of the soul society and get back to earth. Just as Revenant had escaped, he would feel that same Reishi signature. It was the same source of power that had defeated him the first time. Vayle breathed in slowly, as she heard the cell door open. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the man that had managed to leave. To her side, she heard another shinigami draw his soul cutter. Renault Einzbern - He was a good man, an excellent part of squad seven, one who'd been called here just as she had. She'd called on his knowledge of anti-hollow tactics almost as often as she'd called on his cooking skills, during happier times. She held up a hand. "No." "But-" "You need to find a higher ranking member of the gotei. Someone stronger than I. I'm not entirely sure I can cover you against this one. I'll hold him off as long as I can..." "B-but... 20th seat! The same risk applies to-" "Mahoutsukai is a zanpakuto with a focus on destructive power and speed. with the 3-dimensional free movement my power grants me, I have by far the greatest chance of retreating in case of injury! Now go!" Vayle yelled, looking towards the doorway. As the 20th seat ran off, Revenant appeared in the doorway. Covered in the blood of her comrades. Just in search of getting away. "You know, I once respected what you were doing. Even if I thought it was wrong." Vayle would add, looking at the blood on his metallic exo-skeleton as the reactor charged at her side. " Vayle..." Mahoutsukai whispered in concern, but Vayle's rage was too high for her to give a proper response. "But at the end of the day, if you don't like it, it becomes another obstacle in your way. For your own selfish justice, you'll cover yourself in the blood of the men and women who actually try to keep this world going! If this is the path you've chosen, I'll take you down before that hatred is directed at the world I protect!" A wordless hold of the reactor followed Vayle's proclamation, and the prismatic blast of the master spark would encapsulate the doorway with a rainbow-colored blast of energy. Just as he had expected, it was the very same person who had defeated him the last time. In all truth, this was exactly what he had expected, nothing less from the soul society. His rage was different at this moment, not angry about the Shinigami who stood in his way, but all the hollows that still needed killing back on earth. This new motivation drove him in a slightly bigger way, and let him ignore the gap in power between the two. The plus would listen to what Vayle had to say, but was far to busy to respond to her foolishness. "..." the man would quickly enter a defensive stance as the rainbow-like energy would come crashing into him. If an attack like that had hit a lesser man, it would have been over. Luckily, he was no lesser man... Steam came off his armor from the attack, and he was clearly shaken up, but Revenant's Zanpakuto would be held above his head as he rushed towards her with a sense of unmatched fury. He would attempt to land an initial diagonal strike, hoping to end things in one blow, but if that wasn't enough the berserker would follow up with a flurry of smaller strikes. Vayle glared at this focused killer as he gave her only silence in response. Of course this glorified killing machine couldn't give a true response. That wasn't what the Revenant was built for - it was built with bloodshed in mind. No matter who that bloodshed was pointed at... Vayle breathed out slowly, the air choking itself out of her as she readied her reactor with a look of pure anger. The first strike Vayle simply dodged behind her opponent. "You'll have to try harder than that to hit a death god!" Vayle spat, before dodging the next strike with a simple leap back. The third blow was faster still, though, and as the strike burned a line of blood down her chest, she looked up with that same unflinching look of anger. "...If you're quite finished..." Vayle brought up the reactor and the Zanpakuto's inner energies whined to life. "Star sign: Dragon meteor." The Death god jumped into the air just to fire off a massive blast of rainbow energy that would Bake Revenant's position with pure destructive energy. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Revenant grunted as the blast impacted him, he would be pushed back several feet almost flying back through the door he walked out of. If that wasn't enough, his armor was already starting to show wear and tear too. The odds were again not in his favor, Vayle had grown in strength just as he had. Changing up his fighting style would be a must if he had any hope of beating her, so he would enter a new stance. Holding out his left hand, a strange aura would surround both it and his blade. Before both Vayle's eyes and his own, a second identical Zanpakuto would appear. In truth he didn't even know how he did that! "Alright, lets dance Shinigami"Wielding a blade in each hand, he would run towards the woman. A massive series of slashes would come her way, destroying the environment around the two of them. Revenant was surprised he had managed to manifest two blades, but even now he didn't think his strength alone would be enough to defeat Vayle. Especially after the way he had lost last time. Suddenly, a voice echoed in his mind "You doubt yourself. Why? You slay the hollows without remorse and have proven you dominance in the past, have you not?" The voice would subside from his mind with a quick shake of his head. That was strange, he had never heard a voice like that before. Vayle was surprised by the sudden attack. Before her eyes, as though he was some sort of shinigami, Revenant had manifested a second blade, identical to the first. "...How did you do that!" The shinigami spat, coming in to attack her opponent. " Vayle! you are not an infighter!" Mahoutsukai hissed. "I know!" She hissed, holding up her broom as she readied her reactor. Instead of taking the attacks from the blades, She readied a shot behind her and lanced herself away from the blades with a beam of violet, followed up with a strike of the first hado to keep him from following up with his combo, utilizing Sho. The Revenant would look up to see a slightly more relaxed death god. "...I know." Vayle would add in a tone so quiet the Revenant would barely be able to hear it. "...I'll keep my calm." The statement was followed by slamming the Miniature furnace forward, and she could hear the zanpakuto's sigh of relief as she finally let the haze of anger slip from her mind. "Love Sign: Master spark!" Vayle yelled, as another rainbow-colored blast shot forth with the shape and power of a cero blast, burning up the ground as it shot straight for Revenant. As the beam of destructive energy was sent his way, Revenant threw all senses of personal safety to the wind. He would run directly into the beam of energy allowing it to scorch him, just so he could get to Vayle on the other side. This new blade had ignited an evermore powerful rage within himself. Before he had only been manifesting a small portion of his Zampakuto, but now he had summoned it whole. These two blades were actually one, but the name of this weapon was unknown. Something he would have to inquire about at a later date... Perhaps Zena would know something. Steam would pour off of his armor from the attack, and charred bits of his armor would begin to crumble to pieces. After a moment of glaring at her with hate in his eyes, Revenant would lunge at her with the two blades. The first strike would come with the blade in his left hand, and the second with the blade in his right. The voice would start to speak again, "See, you are strong. We are strong. Defeat her and we shall venture to Hueco Mundo, we will make their world a living hell." Nodding slightly, Revenant would continue to launch multiple slashes at the woman. Vayle looked back at the revenant with a spark of anger on her face. It seemed like the Revenant wasn't quite ready to give it up. In that case... In that case she'd just make him. His armor was steaming. he shouldn't have been able to move despite his wounds. Vayle chose not to move, conserving her energy as he took his precious few seconds to recover. She saw his glare, and matched it with her own. "You're not getting past me." Vayle would note with a look of anger. "I have things to protect. People to avenge. A world to keep safe. something a mad dog would know nothing about." She added, as the Revenant moved in to strike. The attack would never hit, as Vayle vanished in a burst of flash steps. Vayle threw another blast of rainbow energy with a resolute look, determined to take this guy down, the beam headed straight for him. It wasn't her last shot, though. "Go to the hell you're trying to create, Revenant!" Marisa appeared on the other side of her opponent with a look of intense anger written on her face. "Intense love sign: Double spark!" Well that was it, he was about to be bested by the exact same Shinigami yet again. There would be one thing different in this scenario however, Vayle appeared to have lost her temper... Her power was much greater than before, and though it would be more than enough to finish him off, it could also prove as a means of escape... The rainbow beam would impact him, but this time he would not brace himself or resist. The energy would push him across the room, and send him crashing through one of the building's walls. He would continue to be launched an additional fifty meters by the blast until he would begin falling from the sky into a random street in the soul society. He had certainly lost that battle, but his opponent's rage got the best of her and allowed him to escape the prison in a rather unorthodox way...
As the plus was down face first in the pavement, another shinigami would approach him and softly speak, "Defeated, but escaped... I can send you back to earth, but don't have the time to heal you." this was the Shinigami black marketeer Zena. She was the one who had extracted him after the first fight against Vayle. It appeared as though she would have to save him again. Bringing forward both of her hands she would softly speak a spell that would surround Revenant with light, and then teleport him to the world of the living. "Looks like my job here is done..."

Vayle grimaced as she saw her shots hit. at first, it looked like she'd accomplished everything she wanted with that strike, sending Revanant's armored body through a wall, and left him to fall.
The girl pursued on the broom, quickly jumping on and flying down to where Revenant had been smacked to, but... damn it, where was he? She was certain she'd seen his armoured body fall this way. If she let him go...
Her eyes thought back to the reports of downed shinigami, of blood on his armour...
"Where the hell did you go?" Vayle roared, looking for where the Revenant had gone. There was no way he could've just disappeared like that! It's not possible! He had no reiryoku, and his inventory had already had full stock taken of it. He had nothing to allow for teleportation of the magnitude she was noticing. As for sensing him, well... Vayle was never the best at sensing anyways. She noticed a random shinigami leaving the scene, but took no pursuit, figuring that she had other work to do.
She turned to search for the revenant on the broomstick, before her shikai broke, turning back to her Kodachi suddenly.
"Vayle. We lost him. Call it in and get over it." Mahoutsukai barked roughly.
Vayle sighed. "But..."
She took a deep breath in. "...Sometimes I hate it when you're right."
Stepping onto the pavement, the shinigami brought up her cell phone. "Hello? It's vayle. Target fled after heavy damage. Method? Unknown as of now. Seemed to be some form of teleportation. potentially world travel. Yeah, I'll be on call to pursue..."
Vayle narrowed her eyes at the pavement. She was starting to suspect it was more than just revenant himself to blame for these miraculous escapes...
She'd go over his case file next time she could. familiarize herself before another fight broke out. Next time, she'd be ready to take him down.
