Death is a natural and important process within the universe of Bleach. During your time here, it is to be expected that you will die at some point, most likely in a Deadly event or Battle. But though it is such a common and integral occurrence, it is still fairly unknown, at least for Souls. When you die, you must wait a week before making any new threads, you may continue previously started threads. Think of this as your down time to help you decide what you wish to do, or time for making a new character. If you wish, you may create a new character with all of your MP, Items, and Techniques available to you. Think of it as a free respec. Otherwise, you can do what it listed below:
Humans
When a human dies, they can either be purified and released to soul society, changing their race to either a Plus, Shinigami or a Hollow. You retain all your current stats, techniques, and items, but your character is still the same as they were before. This will occur once you turn in your thread, as you will note the death AND note the race you wish to choose.
Along with the race change, you may also decide to make a Solo (2000 Words or more) of your starting time as a soul, perhaps having a Shinigami join to help purify you. After the Solo is turned in, it will be reviewed and accepted, granting 15,000 Kan and +5 MP.
Pluses, Shinigami, Arrancar, and Visored.
The “death” of a soul is a very complicated and unknown process, but as with most natural things, it seeks balance. Whatever happens to one of these souls, upon death they will be reincarnated as a living human to replenish the numbers between the Living and the Dead. As with human deaths, you will have to pick a new race. You can choose either a High Spec human, Quincy, or Fullbringer. You will note the death and race change in the thread turn in request as well.
Hollow
When a Hollow “dies” it can have one of two outcomes. Either a Shinigami killed it and purified it with the Konso, in which case it will move on and become a Plus. Or, if it is killed by any other race it will be sent to Hell, as it’s soul was never purified of it’s Sins as a Hollow. After it has paid for it’s sins, it will be returned to the living world once more as a Human, gaining the same choices as above.
Artificial Souls
Technically, these souls can never truly die. Thanks to the Kanpaku’s special ability, they not only get to return, but also have a reduced time. As for Bounts, their souls return to the cycle of Living and dead, meaning they return back to the living world.
