Revenant had finally returned, after seven years of training he had finally decided it was time. The plus would come back from his seclusion, to returning to the soul society as a new man. A furious man at that. He sought the destruction of all hollows, not the simple tag and release of the soul society. There would be no punishment of their kind if that was the case. Revenant wanted them to suffer, he only wished he could see their entire realm burn, to cast the hollows from their world to hell would be optimal. The man knew of the spiritual balance, but cared little about it. All that mattered now was the vengeance he planed to taking, the hell he sought to put the hollows through. "Every last one must suffer..." he would take off his helm, gazing at the massive society. The place was large, large enough for the souls of all to live. If there was someone who could grant him passage between worlds, the man would surly be here.
Black market items, knowledge, and weaponry were all things that Revenant used. There would be no tool too brutal or weapon too vial to destroy the hollows. Of those three things, the man rarely needed knowledge. In the past, he had asked for insight as to the locations of various hollows he used for target practice, but nothing more than that. This time he needed to find a gateway between worlds, one that could bring him too and from earth. Perhaps a gateway that could even transport him to Hueco Mundo. If he could reach that dimension, he would have an eternity's worth of hollows to slay. That thought pleased him, all he needed was to find a new supplier...
Several months ago, Revenant's usual dealer had managed to take a wrong step. He zigged where he should have zagged, and a couple of soul reapers had managed to take him captive. The man's name was Gaiito, or at least it was before the incident. While the soul reapers never seemed to bother Revenant in the past, he knew they would step on each other's toes eventually. Now he would have to find a new all-in-one supplier, informant, and assistant. It was all thanks to those damn soul reapers... As the plus walked the streets, most other souls seemed to be inside their homes. It was a pretty quiet day considering, almost peaceful, as if the Revenant's rage was slightly sub-siding. It was never gone, simply suppressed. Hours seemed to go by as he walked, until he came to the same shop he had always went to in the past. The building looked like it was in rough shape. The front door had been kicked in, several windows were broken, and slash marks littered the wall outside the building. Gaiito certainly didn't go without a fight, but that would only mean an extended sentence in this case. The more he looked at the place, the more Revenant could see the damage. The scene was slowly starting to come together in his mind, "Ah Gaiito, always talking about being able to outfight a soul reaper. You got your wish, and you lost... First, you wouldn't let them in, so they kicked in the door... When they started confiscating your merchandise, you got angry. You lashed out with one of those stolen blades of yours, and ended up picking a fight you couldn't win..."
Revenant would walk into the crumbling shack of a building, they place really had been raided from the inside and out. There was no stone left unturned, not even Gaiito's secret stash of dirty magazines had been left behind! The plus would walk out of the place, deciding it wasn't worth his time. Finding a new black marketer would not be easy after the soul society's display of dominance here. It would take a man with nerves of steel to sell contraband after what happened. fortunately, this was the east side of town, perhaps he would have luck in the west. Revenant would take off his helm yet again, but this time he would strap it to his left side. He would need the best vision possible to spot another seedy joint like Gaiito's. The bad thing was, people like this usually had to come to him, not the other way around. As he began to walk, he would hear a faint giggle. Revenant would turn to see a woman, young in appearance, but looks can be deceiving in the afterlife.
Moreover, was her outfit. Though it was quite revealing, it was clear that she was a Shinigami. She must have been sent to make sure that souls didn't try to pick the place over for loot. Perhaps he had been found out. The would speak in a smooth tone "Well now, there has been rumors about you. A man in armor wielding a Zampakto killing hollows, and destroying their souls. Some thought you were a quincy who had managed to find his way to the other side. This proves otherwise." Revenant would grit his teeth, and quickly dawn his helmet again. He wasn't ready for a fight against a full-fledged soul reaper, even with his years of training. "So you know who I am. I won't be imprisoned without a fight..." The woman would turn towards him, she could feel an aura of rage beginning to radiate from him. "Imprison you? It is true that most of my people would try to do that, yes. I however, am different." She would detach her blade and sheath from her side and allow it to fall to the ground, proving she had no ill intentions. This would cause Revenant's rage to calm yet again, it felt strange. "Rumor had it that the old man Gaiito was supplying you. They were right. Now your looking for a friend, someone who can help you get around? Well, I happen to be in the business of black market trade. I want to help you put hollows down, I'll be your girl on the inside." It was true that he needed a new supplier, and this woman seemed to be a like-minded individual. At the same time, he was weary, what if this was a trap... As if she was a mind reader, she would respond "I can assure you this is no trick. If we wanted you jailed, I would have called the rest of the guard by now... My name is Zena Dailee for the record." She would slightly raise her hat as she began to light a cigarette.
While it was all very sudden, Zena would have to suffice as an advisor of sorts for him. "Usually, I'd say no, but seeing as we have similar goals... I need a gateway... To earth." Revenant would look around assuring himself that they were not being watched, or eavesdropped on. Zena would have to think for a moment, but would approach the plus handing out a business card. "Meet me here. I may have just the item your looking for." Taking the card from her hand, he would give a brief nod and she would seemingly teleport away.
