NAME: "The Revenant" (As he does not remember his true name)
RACE: Plus
AGE: Unknown to himself, perhaps 100.
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6'1 feet, 225 lbs
APPEARANCE:
MOTIVATIONS:
Annihilate the Hollows. Revenant feels a supernatural rage constantly flowing through his body. This anger is directed towards the beings known as hollows. They were the beings who killed him in life, so he is the one who kills them in death. The source of this hate is blind and unreasoning. Anyone who try's to convince him otherwise, he simply ignores.
Challenge. Fighting the same monsters again and again just gets boring sometimes. Though all he can feel is rage, Revenant does sometimes like to play a little game. The goal is to try to kill hollows in more brutal ways each time.
Legend. The Revenant has become somewhat of a living legend in the afterlife, his genocidal raids have inspired fear among hollows and angered the higher ups of the Soul Society. The common people and quincys may view him as a hero however.
QUIRKS:
Being driven by rage leaves little in the area of personality, but Revenant speaks sternly and rarely. He also stays constantly armored and armed, only unequipping when he feels truly safe.
BONDS:
In life, Revenant had his mother, father, and younger brother to keep him company. These bonds were erased upon his death. Now, he has now true friends, but does know a few black market contacts to equip him with the most dangerous weapons available.
BACKSTORY:
Revenant does not remember the source of his rage, but it all started 153 years ago. He was a simple boy, living with an average family, everything was perfectly normal and fine. This was, until a hollow reared it's head in their small town. The entire area had been laid waste too, and a boy had died alongside his family. This boy was "The Revenant". When he woke, he would find himself in a strange would. This place was none other than the soul society, the afterlife. He could have gone to heaven, sure, but he sought retribution for those who wronged him. An aura, blood red, surrounded him. It engulfed him, as a supernatural rage filled his veins. He was compelled to seek out these "Hollows", and he would.
Eventually, he would find his way back to earth, through shady means to say the least. There he would come face to face with the exact hollow that destroyed his home. He wouldn't budge, not frozen by fear, but rage. The red aura would appear again, and manifest itself this time in the shape of a blade. A Zampakuto, a vial, bloodthirsty one. This would be the weapon he used to slay his first hollow. The creature would bellow as it was impaled by the blade, "You had no training soul reaper? No, A man too angry too accept fate... You are a revenant!" Revenant's blade would sink in deeper, and the hollow would die. This would be the first of many, Revenant would have to train, and prepare himself for any soul reapers who tried to stop him.
After managing to stay under the radar, quietly killing hollows for seven years, revenant had made a few contacts. People could transport him to and from life and the afterlife. Not to mention, all the neat toys enhanced with spiritual energy he picked up. The crown jewel of it all was his armor, it was made of spiritual steel and the bones of hollows...
CALL TO ACTION:
After training and acquiring equipment over the course of seven years, Revenant has decided to strike out and look for even greater hollows to slay. Their deaths will be key to defending humanity.
