To protect the order of the Universe... That is justice.
"Dammit, Kazui..." Amadeo muttered under his breath, cursing the name of the man who got him into this mess, while leaping from rooftop to rooftop with a heavy warhammer in hand, trying to escape certain destruction. The Shinigami was a great ally in his crusade, a contact with Soul Society to allow him to operate without breaking its laws, and even not that bad of a friend - but, really now...
A Menos Grande, rampaging through the suburbs of Osaka, smashing through buildings with a single stroke, and Amadeo doesn't even get any backup, right? Amazing.
"I'm backup." rang out through the vigilante's communicator, which got him to release a sigh.
"First of all, speaking - no you are not. Not when you're still hospitalized. Second of all - either you stop reading my mind, or I throw away this comm and we chat through your mind link. Make up your damn mind."
"Couldn't bring yourself to say "God damn", did you?" Carla continued speaking while Amadeo leapt back to avoid a powerful strike from the Menos Grande, splitting the roof he had been standing on earlier in half. Amadeo started pacing around the gigantic Hollow, leaping across buildings to try to get around it, while imbuiding his war hammer with electric sparks. His eyes shifted from side to side in search of anyone who could possibly help him out.
Who knows, maybe he is not the only person with a grudge towards Hollows in the neighbourhood?..

Much had happened since Oliver’s previous mission. While his father had been very...dissatisfied with how Oliver handled the large crowd of party, there was no denying that he had handled the Hollow very well. It had only taken him a mere 20 Minutes to land a killing blow, not his most impressive time but he had a good reason for it. That damned bount ruined what could have been a clean kill. Yet his father almost seemed more impressed with the fact that Oliver had spared it. It mattered little now however, Oliver had finally gotten what he wanted: Freedom to Hunt. No more waiting for assignments or being restricted. It was the perfect time as well, judging by the immense power he sensed in the distance. An enormous figure slowly rose over the city scape, Almost as tall as many of the surrounding skyscrapers. Only those with a strong enough Reiryoku would be able to even see it, resulting in mass panic from the weaker denizens below. Being on the 20th floor of a high end restaurant gave him a wonderful view of the whole catastrophe. This would be the largest Hollow Oliver had ever taken on. Soon it would be the largest Hollow he had ever killed. The Quincy rose from his seat and walked to a window, kicking it hard enough to shatter it utterly. The sudden noise not only scared the other customers, but brought their attention to the destruction which slowly came closer. “I would suggest leaving, everyone. It’ll only get worse from here” He said to them all before giving a grin and falling out the window. The air around him would slowly glow blue, painting across his body in broad strokes until he was completely covered in a shining blue light. Moments before landing, the light would burst and reveal Oliver in a set of white plated armor. Completely unhindered by the armor, Oliver burst forward through the streets until he eventually found the Menos. He’d lift his cross up to the Menos and launch a quick bolt towards the Menos, which would glance off harmlessly. That wasn’t a surprise given the power of the creature. But something in the air was… Strange. There was someone else. Oliver scouted the air before spotting a man hopping across the rooftops, swiftly he’d run up the building to intercept the man. “Who the hell are you?” Oliver asked abruptly as the Menos smashed it’s fist where the quincy had once been standing. To protect the order of the Universe... That is justice.
Amadeo continued leaping from building to building, keeping his eyes on the Menos and trying to keep a safe distance from the enormous Hollow. Its size and power were off the charts and the vigilante could not compare, but his small size and nimble fighting style meant that he couldn't get touched, either. The Menos Grande smashed several roofs in its path, causing mass panic among the unaware civilians, but Amadeo was left unscathed, and managed to get a clear vantage point atop a blocky three store building. From its flat rooftop, the entire giant mass of the Menos Grande could be seen from top to bottom, putting it in context just how likely screwed he was.
"Amadeo, look out! Someone's coming!" Carla's voice suddenly called out to the vigilante through his communicator - and, much like the telepath had informed him, an armored man suddenly fired a bolt at the Menos before landing right in front of Amadeo, demanding him to introduce himself. The two of them were clearly unfamiliar, for sure.
"My name is-" Amadeo was about to explain himself, only to get cut short when the Menos Grande's fist suddenly smashed the piece of the roof where the new arrival had been standing. The vigilante instantly recoiled back and took the chance handed to him - while the Hollow was withdrawing its fist, he imbued his war hammer with electric energy and smashed straight at the knuckles of the creature. It did not deal heavy enough damage to pierce its skin, but the sheer force of the blow pushed the fist aside.
"-Amadeo, Marquis of Gonzaga-Altamirano." the vigilante finished his sentence. "Who the hell are you? Gotei 13 reinforcement?"

Oliver's eye twitched as this "Amadeo" unintentionally insulted him. How dare he assume that a Proud and Powerful Quincy could ever be comparable to a Shinigami. Oliver had barely just kept himself from firing a shot at the man, instead raising his bow at the Menos and firing a volley to get out his anger. After doing so he hopped to another roof and looked over at Amadeo. The man was not a Shinigami, as he would have realized what Oliver was. He lacked the Hollow Reiatsu which all Fullbringers and Arrancar had, and he wasn't using a Doll like a Bount. It was safe to assume the man was either a Plus or a High Spec Human, maybe aligned with Soul Society given his questioning. Either way, he would serve as nothing more than an unneeded obstacle in this battle. "If you're working with the Shinigami, I can see why you're struggling so much with this pest. The Shinigami always liked allying themselves with pathetic weaklings…" The sound of destruction echoed as the Menos smashed the building Oliver was previously standing on. "Listen here, Amadildo or whatever the hell your name is: This is my kill. Don't get in my way" Oliver hopped towards the Menos in a single leap, grasping its black robe and pulling himself up. The intention was to reach its mask and fire a high powered bolt point blank. It would probably take more than one shot to take it down, but it would be heavily damaging nonetheless. Assuming that fool didn't interfere, this would be a fairly quick and simple affair. After about a minute or so of climbing Oliver finally reached the creature's shoulder. Before he could raise his bow to meet it, however, its mouth would suddenly snap open as a large red orb began to form. Lady Arcadia

Apparently, the man did not take being called Gotei 13 reinforcement well. He did not go as far as to lash out against Amadeo violently, thank God, but the way how the man expressed himself, let out his inner frustration on the Menos Grande, forgot about the vigilante's question entirely and proceeded to berate him. At least he managed to figure out that this man is not a member of Gotei 13, or a Shinigami entirely.
And that he was apparently convinced enough of his strength that he declared he'll be able to take out the Menos all by himself.
"You asshole, this isn't just about the Menos!.." Amadeo yelled out. He had been trying to keep the gigantic Hollow away from inhabited areas and prevent any further destruction - and this man took it as a sign of weakness, jumping straight to try to "steal his kill".
Either way, Amadeo really didn't want to get into conflict with someone volunteering to help, even if their methods were far from great. The vigilante leapt downwards - the Menos Grande, dealing with an annoying ant climbing on its arm, was now stomping all over the ground, causing havoc and destruction wherever it went. This wasn't just about who gets to kill the Menos - making sure that nobody innocent gets hurt on the way was just as vital.
Amadeo pulled away cars, pushed frightened civilians away from the Menos's path, ignoring their surprise at a bolt of white and blue moving faster than the untrained eye can track, and crossed his fingers that the mysterious stranger was as competent as he claimed he was.

As soon as Oliver saw the Cero forming, he had launched the drawn bolt at the creature’s face in the hopes of stunning it. Once more it would bounce off the mask and dissipate into the air, harmless as ever. The Cero, however, was fully powered up and launched directly at Oliver, who had already jumped off the creature’s shoulder to escape from the blast. Quickly he’d launch himself to the side, barely getting caught by the blast on the side. Whatever armor the beam touched would instantly be vaporized, leaving behind blackened spots of flesh which were excruciatingly painful. The power of the blast sent Oliver spinning and crashing into a nearby building. Something had been hurt much worse than Oliver’s burnt flesh. It was his pride. Never in his life as a quincy had he been so easily taken down by a Hollow before, nor had he ever met a Hollow which could just shrug off his attacks. It infuriated him to no end. The Quincy stood up abruptly and pushed the rubble to his side, ignoring the now bleeding burn marks. Without a word he lifted his bow and began to launch a constant stream of arrows at the hollow. He was launching them so many so fast that the armor which protected his fingers was beginning to wear down, blood slowly leaking from his fingers. It didn’t seem to perturb the Quincy as he continued to launch the stream of arrows. Every single one continued to bounce off the Menos, or just have no effect at all. “Why...why won’t you die…” He muttered to himself as he struggled to keep the barrage up until his drawing arm finally gave out. The creature looked down at him, almost mockingly. Another Cero began to power up as Oliver simply watched. He was suppose to be the most powerful within the Javier Family, how could he take over if he couldn’t even take down a single Menos? Was this why his father wouldn’t let him out for so long? Because he knew he would fail? The Quincy gritted his teeth in anger and lifted up his bow, drawing back another shot as the Cero reached its firing point. If he wasn’t strong enough to take it down, then he would at least die fighting it. Lady Arcadia

While making sure that the rampage of the Menos Grande left destruction as minimal as possible, Amadeo kept tabs on the Quincy's fight against the monstrosity with the corner of his eye. Perhaps he should have expected this from the get-go, but he wasn't really able to do much alone - all the arrows which he fired were unable to pierce its mask, while its Cero dealt far more damage in retaliation. The side of his armor was left gaping open and the skin underneath was covered in burn marks - that was an immediate hint that, should the Quincy get hit by a Cero again, he was not going to walk it off.
And, unfortunately, that was what was about to happen. The man kept on firing from sheer refusal to yield, the Cero building up in the Hollow's mouth reaching its breaking point. Amadeo immediately leapt forward, activating his Flash Step and speeding across rooftop after rooftop. He grabbed the Quincy by his arm and yanked him out ofthe way, just as a powerful beam of energy eviscerated everything in the stop he had been standing in.
"You're almost as stubborn as my sister." Amadeo sent an off-hand comment, stepping away from the man and spinning the hammer in his hand while he stared at the Menos before them. "Got any strategies besides shooting at it blindly? Because that's not your average Hollow, it's not going to be so simple."

Oliver was nearly blinded by the Cero as it fired towards him. He was prepared for it, the burning which would most assuredly be followed by the feeling of nothingness. What would happen if he died? For all his knowledge on the afterlife, such information seemed to evade him. Suddenly he would feel himself being yanked to the side, nothing but bright white filling his vision. This was it, the end of Oliver Bardon Javier… That was until he was dropped to the ground, a snide remark bringing Oliver back to the land of the living. The man had decided to save him… Oliver clenched his fist, trying his damndest to keep from punching the man. Most people would be thankful for being saved, he understood this, but Oliver didn’t want to be saved. If he was to die in battle, then he should die. It is the fate of those too unskilled and too weak. Now he owed his life to this complete stranger. Oliver had made himself a fool… Slowly he would stand and grasp his arm, looking over at the Menos. What else did he have to lose at this point? “It’s Reiatsu is too powerful, neither of us are strong enough to damage it. Maybe…” Oliver glanced down at his cross for a moment. “If we can manage to attack it in a single spot, with all we have, we may be able to pierce it’s Reiatsu” Oliver stated in an almost deadpan voice. Was he really going to ask this man for help? The thought of it made him ill. “The attacks will have to be pinpoint accurate. Even then we may not be able to harm it before it can recover… It will require an immediate follow-up attack. Think you can handle that, gode?” Lady Arcadia

The man, after a less than happy glance at Amadeo for reasons which the faux Marquis wouldn't have been able to grasp, confirmed Amadeo's statement. This wasn't your ordinary Hollow, its Reiatsu is far too powerful for either one of them to take on separately - but while Amadeo hoped to divert it from any populated areas and wait for Shinigami support, Oliver instead concocted a plan for the two of them to strike a single spot with all of their strength. It was a risky move and could and likely would flounder, the man knew that, but offered it regarless.
"My fighting style doesn't really do pinpoint accurate attacks." Amadeo responded, then rested his electrified war hammer on his shoulder, staring at the Menos Grande in the distance. "Fine, though. If that's what you think will take to take it out, then I'll handle it to the best of my ability. However..."
There was one thing he had to note before the two of them went to charge at a Hollow vastly more powerful than them. "...When we're out there, make sure that we don't actually kill that Hollow, alright? It's going to need to get purified so it can enter Soul Society like everyone else, after all."

Oliver didn’t give Amadeo an answer for a good 30 seconds. Wonderful, another bleeding heart Shinigami sympathizer. He should of guessed this would be the case given the mans previous questioning. Oliver held a hand over the broken pieces of armor and slowly began to gather Reishi, dispersing it to repair the armor. After doing so, he would turn to Amadeo and crack his neck. “Does it really matter right now? It’s killing plenty of people right now, most of whom are just as likely to become hollows. The sooner it is gone, the less collateral everyone will have to deal with” Oliver had no qualms with collateral, but he knew most everyone else did. He was going to kill this Hollow, but it would be far easier to do without Amadeo constantly protesting. For now, he’d try appeasing the man, ending the Menos after they managed to subdue it. Besides, if he was correct, Amadeo wouldn’t have enough strength after this to stop Oliver. Oliver, however, had plenty of other methods to end this confrontation and make an expedient get away. Oliver spun around and summoned his bow. “Be prepared, we will only have one chance at this. Aim for the center of the left eye and move away quickly. Unless you wish to be struck by my arrow...” Not that it would be such a bad thing, Oliver thought. An Arrow would appear on Oliver’s bow, which slowly began to grow in size as he struggled to pull the string back. Energy crackled around him like lightning, muscles screaming in pain both from his previous barrage and the effort of pulling this shot back. “Strike, now!” He’d shout over to Amadeo. Lady Arcadia
