It was midnight in Tokyo, Japan as Karl and his doll stood on top of the city skyscraper, looking down at the sea of neon lights before them. The moon was full tonight and there were no clouds in the night's sky. It was a cool night, with a gentle breeze carrying in the smell of the nearby beach into Karl's nostrils. Down at the city streets below Karl could make out people going about their night of debauchery.
After a few moments of taking in the city landscape and its people, Dame finally spoke."Much has changed since we've been away. Hasn't it Karl?" She said slowly. Karl still awestruck about what he was seeing, only managed a simple nod as a reply. Karl and Dame haven't been to Japan in over 75 years and apparently, a lot of things had changed in that short amount of time. Basic lighting replaced by neon ones. Cars with sleeker designs drove down the street and people seem to be wearing less clothing now.
"Karl reached out with his Reiryoku and felt around for any strong spiritual presence around them. He quickly picked up on the common energies of hollows and soul reapers, as well as other spiritual, enlightened beings. He felt around for a few more moments to see if he can pick up on anything else before stopping."The city may have changed, but the problem remains the same." He briefly glances over at Dame and smirked." Too many monsters and not enough heroes." He added. Dame turned to him with a wide grin." And which one are we tonight? Monsters or heroes?" She asked. Karl shrugged his shoulder and said." Don't know. The night is still young." He replied." If anything, let's go and mingle with the mortals." With that Karl's doll transformed herself into a black diamond ring and went around Karl's ring finger.
Afterward, Karl jumped off the skyscraper and air walked down the ground. After landing in a nearby alley, Karl looked around to make sure no one saw him. The coast seems clear." Time to explore this strange new world." Karl said to himself as he walked out of the alleyway and into the city streets.

The endless skyline of the capital of Japan, Tokyo, stood before Lady Arcadia, the woman briefly eyeing it down before returning to her mission. It was the first time in her life that she got to witness the city first hand, and it did not leave a great impression upon her. Surely, her Mistress would not be pleased with the mere existence of it - cities such as Tokyo were, to her, merely a congregation of debauchery, ignorance and wasted Soul potential. So many powerful Souls, so many humans with high Reishi, all wasting it away here... Arcadia's target was not any of them, however. Instead, she was searching for something a lot... specific. The Paper Rose Society, in their endless thirst for experimentation and power, wished for her to bring more and more elusive species and Souls to the confines of their secret base - and today, she needed a Bount. A Bount... Arcadia had not known about Bounts before in her life. According to her Mistress, it was a perfect example of the many, many failures of the Soul Society, a failed attempt to discover eternal life and bolster their ranks with artificial creations, and all they achieved was unkillable contraptions gone rogue. If it were the Paper Rose in control of such a project, something this disastrous would have never taken place. But, they still need a Bount. Who knows how much you would be able to find out by cutting one apart on the surgeon's table. " And there they are..." Arcadia muttered under her breath, watching from atop a three story building and looking down to the streets of the city below, her eyes locked upon a particular person within the crowd. There were a bit too many people here... but an idea was already on the woman's mind. So, without hesitation, she dropped down to a nearby alleyway, away from any prying eyes. A minute or so would pass. The man in question may suddenly notice a young woman running after him from behind, carrying a map in her hands and looking visibly distressed. " Mister! Mister! Wait up!" the woman yelled in crystal clear English - clearly a tourist around these parts. Right after catching up to the man, she stopped in front of him and released an exhaused breath. " I-I'm sorry, I took a wrong turn five blocks ago and I think I might have gotten lost... Could you help me find my way back, please?" Defensive Phase

For a brief moment, the hairs on the back of Karl's neck stood up. Something was wrong, Karl could tell, but what he couldn't tell was what exactly it was. Just then, a fresh face girl approached Karl breathing heavily and holding a map in her hands. The girl spoke perfect English and explain to Karl that she had gotten lost and asked for his help. At first, Karl was a bit taken back by the girl English but quickly remember that this was a new age and not everybody gotta learn the native languages anymore in order to travel to places anymore.
Karl than assumed the young woman was a tourist much like himself and put aside his gut feeling in order to help her out. Karl took a step closer to the woman and said." I'm not familiar with this part of town anymore, but let's see if I can't be of assistance to you. Where were you trying to go?"Karl asked.

Thankfully, the man did not immediately back away from her or run - this made everything a whole lot easier. While he spoke and explained that he isn't familiar with the town anymore, Arcadia smiled and nodded, briefly eyeing him down from top to bottom. The Reiatsu his body exhibited was nothing spectacular, nothing compared to others she had fought before - however, this did not meant that he couldn't be useful to the Society once captured. A Bount is a Bount.
"Where I was trying to go?" the woman repeated the question presented to her. "Ah, pretty simple. I'm in Tokyo to visit a friend I met online, and I have their address - they're supposed to be somewhere in this district, but it's such a dense web of narrow streets and alleyways that I keep getting lost. And..."
Arcadia suddenly grabbed onto the man's upper arm and started tugging him. "It'll be easier if I just show you." The woman would start leading him towards one of the narrow streets leading out of the main street the two were in, towards the gloomy depths of the residential district. "My name is Arcadia Morily, by the way - what is yours? You're not from around here, either?"

Meeting people online, instead of face to face seemed off and pretty dangerous to Karl. However, if this is how kids meet nowadays than who is Karl to complain about it. If anything he was thinking about trying it out now, if it meant meeting new people. While he was thinking about how to do so, the young woman grabbed him by his arm and started to pull him away from the city streets and into the dimly lit back alleyways of the city. The pair twisted and turned down the narrow streets of the residential district of Tokyo. And as they did a flood of memories quickly came back to Karl. The memories were a mixture of good and bad, but it was still pleasant for him to remember such things.
It was at this moment Karl heard the young lady asking about him." Oh." He fumbled out at first, snapping back to reality and saying. "I used to live here but that was a long time ago. Now I just drift around. You know." He focused back on the young woman."By the way, where you are you from? Your english is pretty good. Are you from America or maybe England?" Karl asked.

Right, so he was from Tokyo, and even though he did not hand her a name, he seemed moderately trusting. Noticing Arcadia's great grasp of English, he followed up by asking on whether she was a native speaker. She was not... but a noble lady such as her got the chance to study English and hard since her early childhood, so her skills in the language were pretty much perfect. At least... that's what she used to believe. Her Mistress told her a different story, and her Mistress is always right. "I am from England, correct."
The duo left the dense and packed main streets and instead started trailing through narrow, largely empty alleyways composing the surrounding residential district. Perfect. Simply perfect. Arcadia started to slow down, before stopping entirely.
"So you are from around here then... You know, I've always wanted to visit Japan. It's such a beautiful nation. I adore the culture, the beautiful sights, the welcoming people..." the woman began to speak, unzipping her jacket and grabbing onto the handle of her Asauchi hidden underneath. "I adore all the powerful, tasty souls which call it home."
Using her Fullbring ability, Arcadia suddenly pulled onto the walls of the alleyway in front and behind them - the concrete and brickwork suddenly exploded and started tunneling down, cutting off both of the exits by foot. The woman pulled out her Asauchi in a single masterful stroke and infused it with her Hollow Reiatsu, granting the edge of the weapon a dark, burning tint.
"My Mistress told me that I need to bring her a Bount. I am here to make her dreams come true."

Karl walked with Arcadia and listened to her speak. So she was from England. He thought to himself. He should have guessed, especially considering how long he was in England for. Or at the very less how long he had raided England merchants ships, as his time as a pirate. Good times, he thought. Plenty of sunshine, lots of fish and all the gold one can hull. Souls, however, was albeit scarce out at sea, but for all the fun he had, it was well worth the trade. The two kept going deeper and deeper into Tokyo's residential district and as they did the girl kept talking about how she liked Japan and its people, the culture and etc. Somewhere along the walk, Karl started to go in and out of listening to her. However, when she stopped in front of Karl, that was when he finally started to pay attention to her. It was now dawning on Karl there were no lights shining through any of the nearby homes nor any sign of life going on around them. This area they were in was completely deserted and Karl had just walked into a trap. Karl let out a nervous chuckle while scratching the back of his head. "So, um your friend lives around here huh?" He asked not really expecting an answer to his question at this point. Just then in one masterful stroke, Arcade pulled out a blade and infused it with what Karl could only tell was hollow energy, while simultaneously causing the pathways to crumbled around them. Effectively trapping them inside this narrow path. Immediately recognizing he was in danger, Karl jumped a couple of feet backward so that he won't be cut down so easily. While in mid-air Karl held out his right hand in front of his chest, with his palm facing towards him and back of his hand facing towards Arcade. "Ziege dirch Madam Sunde." He said quickly and as soon as he finished his sentence, a sudden burst of dark purple energy came flooding out of from the ring and swirled around Karl. For a brief moment, the energy swirling around Karl completely enveloped him before being blown away from him and quickly dissipating into the air in the form of black and purple butterflies. Now standing in front of him was his doll, Madame Sunde. Madam Sunde stood about six feet tall in dark purple high heels. Her skin was light purple and she wore a dark purple thigh split dress that is cut from the middle in order to show off her legs and allow her to maneuver around. Another noticeable feature about her was her horns protruding out from in front her forehead before angling outward to the side of her face and then going upward like bull horns. Madam Sunde saw Arcadia in front of her and scoffed."You summon me for this Karl?" She asked Karl, her tone was that of annoyance with a little bit of anger toward both Arcadia and Karl. "Just be on guard." Karl replied. "Right." Madame Sunde assured him as went into a boxer stance. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

The Bount realized exactly what was heading for him almost immediately - and in reaction, he activated a some sort of enchantment which burst his Doll out of his ring. A six foot tall woman with light purple skill and fancy overalls materialized next to him, lamenting that she had been summoned for such a weak opponent for a few seconds before entering a battle stance. And, honestly, if you were to look at the battle from afar, you could tell where the Doll was coming from. Standing five foot even, Lady Arcadia didn't look intimidating at all compared to the man or his towering Doll. However, she knew very well that, in reality, the odds were in her favor.
To a point where a thought in her mind occurred that she doesn't even need to go completely all-out to grant her Mistress her desire. And wouldn't that be so, so much more satisfying for everyone involved?
"Your bravery is admirable for someone who's already one foot in the grave." Arcadia stated, then slowly raised her Hollow Reiatsu infused weapon, assuming an offensive swordwielding stance, before suddenly lunging forward. The woman sped across the alleyway at speeds faster than the eye can track, stopping in front of Madam Sunde and immediately sending several swift slashes her way - one from the left, one from the right and finally an overhead strike. Not only were each of the cuts fast and powerful in their own right, but they aimed to open wounds in their opponent's body and let Arcadia's Reiatsu seep inside to burn the person from within.

Karl placed his left hand over his mouth and let out a soft chuckle to Arcadia words. One foot in the grave. He thought to himself. The phrase was funny to him. Not because he didn't believe she couldn't do it. No that wasn't it, but for all many many times he had heard those exact words uttered out to him throughout the centuries. Well, maybe not those exact words, but always something similar to it. You would think humans or shinagamis or whatever he fought against would come up with something albeit more clever or anything different over the centuries but they never do. Such a shame. Karl opened his mouth to offer a retort to her words, but he quickly felled silent as she made her move. Arcadia was fast and pretty handy with that blade of hers. Karl had to give her that much. Within seconds, Arcadia had already closed the gap between her and Dame Sunde and attempted three swift strikes against his doll. Two out of the three strikes Arcadia had swung at Dame Sunde actually hit there mark. The blade viciously cut across Sunde's left forearm and another slash made contact on her right biceps and the last one almost found its way home across Dame's chest. The Bount's doll did not fare too well in close quarters, it seems. It did not move quickly enough to avoid all the swift sword attacks heading its way and was forced to take the brunt of the attacks, before leaping out of range and stopping next to its owner. While the two of them talked, Arcadia carelessly spun the sword in her hand, dropping her attention before immediately going back to action when two balls of energy shot her way. The first got sliced in half by her Asauchi without a problem, but the other one was moving too quickly for her to slice or dodge, and thus struck her straight in the arm. A concentrated explosion detonated in the alleyway, leaving several scratches on her clothes and skin, but did not leave her significantly wounded.
"You're right to be worried - but it isn't poison you're looking at..." Arcadia muttered, bearing a wicked smirk. "The mere touch of my weapon leaves a trail of Hollow Reiatsu on my opponent's skin - and if it reaches your bloodstream, whether you are a human, a Shinigami, or even a Bount doll, then, well..."
Arcadia raised her Asauchi, holding it up horizontally, and tapped onto the handle of her weapon. "Death Sign: Spirit Shackle." Suddenly, the Hollow Reiatsu she had left in the Doll's body would activate and release a powerful agonizing shock. The Fullbringer would take advantage of this immediately, charging forward and thrusting her sword straight towards the Doll, before going for a spin and thus sending several swift slashes its way.
