Buckshot and spines pierced Jeremy’s armor as he’s knocked back, the lead shot digging into his flesh with each movement. Jeremy and Alex attempt to box the armored spirit in to a proper killzone, but his onslaught of bullets kept them from getting too close. Alex unleashed more electricity into the air, the bolts of lightning striking the streetlights and cars as they searched for any point to ground to.
“Do you have a plan?” Alex asked as Jeremy took refuge behind the juggernaught’s armor.
“At the moment, or in general?” Jeremy replied as he reached into one of the pouches on Alex’s back, pulling out a taser round and sliding it into the chamber of his shotgun.
“Those are one in the same.” Alex pointed out with an amused tone out as he tries to suppress Revenant as a batch of pellets reflect off him. Jeremy took a deep breath, taking in the battle around him. Sensing the field, understanding his opponent, seeing beyond the mere moment as it all clicked together.
“In that case: duck.” The soldier ordered, and as has the juggernaut took a knee Jeremy fired the electrical round towards the plus and vaults over Alex’s shoulder to rush the enemy, gun blazing and fire in his eyes.
