Ever since that fateful day of near death, Sori had been deathly afraid of Hollows. Even though she was a bount and more than powerful enough to take the weaker ones down, most if not all of them caused her to shutdown completely. She had seen everything which had just transpired. All the way to Takano nearly losing his arm from an attack by another Shinigami and she could do...nothing. That woman, the one in red, her aura was just like a Hollow’s. She even had hollow acid. She hurt and possibly killed Takano and Sori could do nothing to stop it. No, she could have done something to stop it... Hopping from her perch down to the armored man and Takano’s zanpakuto, wiping her eyes as she knelt down to pick it up. Quickly she hopped back as the armored man erupted into fire and was slowly dragged into the ground. She’d hold the weapon out, pointing it at him until he finally vanished completely. After realizing he was gone completely, she’d fall back onto the ground, struggling to keep herself stable as she tried to collect her nerves. Sori ran a hand through her purple hair as she glanced around to make sure there’d be no more surprises. Eventually she’d give a sigh before standing up again, looking around the Coffee shop where the battle took place. Blood and gore filled the shop with a disgusting stench. Body parts were scattered about, making it difficult to step anywhere without leaving a trail. Sori wanted to run away, find someone to help, but she was just couldn’t take her eyes off the mayhem. Was this going to happen to Takano? Was he going to be torn to pieces because she was too cowardly to hop in and help? Vayle Cameo

Vayle struggled to look around as she panicked. The rain had started to fall again, and the street was quickly becoming nothing more than a muddied mess. She couldn't see anything through the water as she desperately tried to find the one thing Takano had valued more than himself...
Except he'd left that behind too, he'd left it behind for god knows what reason and now Vayle was starting to wonder if Eleanor had managed to be that thorough, if she'd extended a hand for Takano's zanpakuto, or if she was willing to even do so. Perhaps the thought of an honest friend repulsed her too much for that thought - perhaps that's why she left his other half lying in the rain.
Vayle's hand tightened around Mahoutsukai. Like she'd ever let Eleanor get away with this... she wasn't going to let this slide.
The shinigami got close, and she could feel Chiyu's reiatsu nearby, but...
Vayle stopped as she saw a purple-haired...
No way...
"...Excuse me, miss? What you're holding there..."
Vayle looked the woman in the eye, surprised by the energy she was feeling. there was no way it was one of them, and yet it certainly felt like she was wrong right now.
Could it really be a bount?
"...It belongs to a friend of mine." Vayle finished after a second, before asking. "Do you... know him?"

The fearful bount would launch up like a cat as soon as Vayle spoke. She had been so focused on feeling bad for herself that she failed to notice the ever encroaching Reiryoku. Sori fell back, landing in one of the many pools of blood as she held the point of Chiyu out at Vayle. She’d scurry back quickly before rising to her feet, continuing to point Chiyu at her. After a minute or so she’d begin to realize just who this was. “Y-you’re that Shinigami he sparred with… You almost severed his arm…” She’d mutter. It was more of an attempt to make her feel better for not jumping in to help, pointing out what the Shinigami had done wrong. Sori knew all too well that Vayle had not intended to hurt Takano… She’d tighten her grip on the Zanpakuto as Vayle asked if Sori knew him. “He saved me from a Hollow and rouge Shinigami a long time ago… Helped me survive my wounds by giving me some of his soul…” Her arm would begin to shake slightly as she struggled to keep it raised. “I helped him after he fought with that lady in red for the first time… But she didn’t look or even act like that before. What did they do with him? And what do you want with his weapon?” Finally, Sori would begin to lower her arm but still keep it in a threatening stance. Sori had no trust for the Shinigami, even if Takano did. The woman had done nothing to earn it. In fact, that accidental strike at Takano only served to further make her distrust the woman. Vayle was surprised as she saw the bount point Chiyu directly at her and took a half-step back. she wasn't necessarily scared, but... She'd read the old archives. of the bount invasion of soul society. much of the details were murky and she wasn't sure who the substitute shinigami they kept referencing was, but they were made out to be fierce warriors that slaughtered the average shinigami easily and made even captains reach for their bankai.
Compared to this girl... It was a change. But it made it clear that approaching would be dangerous - if not for her, then for the modified human she was staring at right now - and that meant she needed to hang back.
Her first statement... cut.
"...Yeah. I did." Vayle admitted. She wasn't proud of it in the slightest. it was a training accident in a spar and Takano had recovered fully...
But she was a death god. She was supposed to be better than that. Taking a depe breath with that flush of guilt running through her, she waited to answer her questions.
"...They captured him. Eleanor is... a woman who seems to want to capture shinigami and use them to her own ends." Vayle said after a moment. "...I just want to bring his zanpakuto back to soul society where it's safe, and hopefully reunite him with Chiyu sooner, rather than later. There's..."
Vayle took a deep breath, looking down at the pavement. "...There's not a worse fate for a zanpakuto than to be separated from their owner. So I'd like to make sure it doesn't stay this way for long.

Her grip on the blade would tighten as Vayle made her intentions clear. She wanted to take Takano’s blade back to Soul Society… Part of the bount wanted to run from the Shinigami, she knew that she could outrun her. But not just yet, not until she found everything out. Maybe she could go hunt this “Eleanor” down and save Takano. She could make up for her mistakes. She narrowed her eyes at the Shinigami and shifted her feet discreetly in case she needed to run. “ You want to keep his sword safe? What the hell could you or Soul Society do to keep it safe? You couldn’t even keep Takano safe” She’d hiss. “Your kind are better at torturing and destroying things. Especially to the things they make… No, I’m not giving it up” She’d straighten slightly and glance to the side. “I’m going to find Takano and save him myself. You all got him in this situation to start with and you’ll probably just end up getting him killed. And once I do find him, he’ll see what’s wrong with Soul Society and leave it, for good.” Her left foot would shift slightly as she suddenly bolted off the ground and out the window. Hopping along the street gracefully, Sori would slowly make her way upwards until finally reaching the roof tops. She had never relinquished her grip on the blade, keeping it to her side so she could focus on her escape. Trying to run from a trained Shinigami with only one hand to climb could prove...difficult, but there was no time to worry about that right now. Vayle Cameo

Vayle sighed, putting a hand to the bridge of her nose as she ran off. She was trying really hard to be mad at this woman for what she said, and there was certainly a surge of anger. Couldn't keep Takano safe? Better at destroying things? What the hell did this brat know about wehat she'd done...
Nah. She had her points. She had a reason to feel the way she did - from her ancestry, from soul society's actions, and from Vayle's own impulsive reactions...
The shinigami vanished with a burst of flash step. that didn't mean she didn't need to catch up, and she popped in front of sori before holding up a hand. "Sit down. listen to what I have to say. Chiyu's life is at stake as is. I understand you're angry about this, but to save the life of his sword I got no problem holding you down with kido if I really have to." Vayle would add with a warning tone. Right now, seperated from her main source of reishi, Shale needed to make sure she got Chiyu back to soul society as soon as possible - all beings, even those that lived inside swords, needed reishi to live. she couldn't guarantee Chiyu's survival if she left her in the comparatively barren and reishi-light human world. it would be easier to explain to takano why she beat up a bount, than to explain how she let his sword starve out of politeness.

“How did you…” Tch, it seem the Shinigami was far faster than she had anticipated. So fast that she almost seemed to teleport in front of the bount. Her normal speed wouldn’t cut it, she should of realized that no physical speed could’ve beaten a Shinigami’s Hoho. What was worse, the Shinigami was threatening her with restraint, trying to say that Takano’s sword would die if not taken back. “Starting with threats and ending with lies, huh? You don’t scare me and you don’t deserve to keep Chiyu. I can find a way to keep her alive…” Sori might of been slower than the Shinigami, but she knew something which was just as fast, if not faster. It was her only chance to maybe get away from the Shinigami. Sori would lift her foot up and tap the tip of her shoe on the rooftop. “Ziege Dich” The rooftop with suddenly be lit up with a blinding flash of light. As the light slowly dissipated, Vayle would see a large black elk sitting on the rooftop. As it stood, various neon purple lines along it’s coat would light up, along with its Antlers and eyes. Smoke escaped its nose as Sori hopped on top of it and pointed Chiyu at Vayle. “Don’t follow me” With a sudden boom Sori and her Doll would bolt forward, leaving a hole in the rooftop. Vayle Cameo

"Tch..." Vayle noted with a sigh. "Kid, you're making this really hard for me." Vayle added with a sigh, forcing herself not to smile just a little at the turn of events. she was being evaded by this bount that had decided she was a threat to Chiyu - that she needed to protect her zanpakuto.
Vayle really wanted to be angry at Sori, and as her doll appeared, a large black elk popped up and she leaped up on it before Vayle could react. This was wasting valuable time that could have been used tracking Takano down, using up a lot of Vayle's own energy if it came to a counter-attack, not to mention potentially threatening Chiyu's own life... and she was definitely irrational at the moment...
At the same time, she had to hand it to Takano. For such a lazy guy, he'd made a pretty amazing friend. Rational? Maybe not right now. But definitely loyal and caring, and willing to put a life she clearly feared for on the line, just to make sure his blade was okay.
"...How'd a guy like you manage to net a pretty girl like that?" Vayle muttered under her lips with a slight grin at her own joke, before continuing after.
Problem was, the doll was fast. too fast for her. Vayle pushed herself to her limit with shunpo, but it wasn't getting her anywhere near speed. it was bad. she was losing her, and fast, on that elk... it must have been her bount doll. It was the first she'd seen, and Vayle wished she was a little more informed on the subject right about now.
Still...
Vayle took a deep breath, and let her logic take a back seat, just a bit, and her emotions loose.
A trail of sonic booms followed as Vayle used sonido to catch up with the kid.
"I don't wanna do this any longer than I have to, Kid. Make this easy for me." Vayle warned, pushing just past the doll in a burst of red and violet reishi enveloping her.

Sori had thought she made her point completely clear. If this was a movie, that was her dramatic exit. The bount held on tightly to her doll’s antlers, shivering slightly as the blood on her clothing slowly cooled and hardened. She was going to do, save Takano and end this “Eleanor” without Soul Society. She could show everyone that they didn’t need Soul Society to solve their problems. It gave her a smile just thinking about it. That smile would be short lived, however. Sori’s heart sunk as that stupid, annoying, air headed shinigami came running up beside her. It was obvious the woman was struggling to keep up. She managed to push past Sori whilst surrounding herself in a strange Reddish aura, followed by more warnings. At this point it seemed the Shinigami was full of it.... “All you have are threats and a stupid haircut!” She’d shout before patting her doll on the side of the head. “Are you going to let that dork reaper outrun you Elchvogel? Make her eat dust!” The doll lowered it’s head down and charged forward even faster. If Vayle didn’t manage to move out of the way, she might end up getting stabbed by the antlers. Sori was done listening to the shinigami, all she wanted to do was escape. Vayle Cameo

Vayle sighed, as the woman kept going with her chatter. It wasn't as though she had any real problem with the woman, mind you. There was a small part of her that agreed with the woman. She kept that in mind, as she dodged Elvogel with a quick leap up, popping up directly above Sori. It didn't matter. she had one thing left she could do, in order to make this up to Takano. Keep his weapon safe. This woman was out of her gourd at this point, and it seemed she was using this problem as an excuse to vent other frustrations. She didn't have the luxury to consider her feelings at the moment. "I don't know what you've got against Shinigami or Soul society." She'd say simply, as she held up a pair of fingers, pointing, not at the horse, but at the woman holding the blade atop it. She wasn't sure if kido of her level could ever restrain such a huge beast, but luckily for her, she didn't have to. She concentrated her energy, focusing it into a single point. "Bakudo sixty-one: Rikujokoro!" The golden beams of light would form from all directions around her opponent, Before moving in all at once, hoping to hold her in place. "But I won't let you endanger Chiyu 'cause of your own grudges. If you want to push a grudge, uphold an ideal, or fight for something you've lost, how about you use your own life to do it, instead of hers!" Takano Hirai
